Absolute junk of a router, weaker than a nun’s fart, and the customer service is really poor
You get what you pay for. There is a reason why these cowboys are so cheap

Absolute crap, has to be the worse broadband I have ever experienced. The wifi won't even reach the bedroom above. The signal has never been full downstairs now for 3 wks. I wish I never signed up. BT we're far better.

I had NOW broadband in a rented flat for 5 months without any real issues, however, when I bought a place and went to move, that was a different story.

I gave them 2 weeks notice as required and was told that on my move in day, the broadband would be connected and working, which is great as 99% of the time I work from home.
However, the morning of my move, the engineer cancelled. NOW TV blamed the BT engineer and the BT engineer blamed NOW TV, as I had requested an afternoon service and the had booked a morning one.
So, I basically had no broadband. I then realistically had to take a days holiday on the Monday to try sort this out and NOW broadband told me that they could get an engineer booked in 12 days time, which I told them was unacceptable.
Luckily on the Monday I managed to pay for and connect to a BT WiFi hotspot for 5 days (which I then had to again5 days later).
Eventually 12 days later, my broadband was up and in one of NOW's emails, there was a link for Ofcom’s automatic compensation scheme.
I called NOW and made then aware that I was only looking to get back the 2 x £19.99 I had paid.
After chasing for nearly 2 weeks, they have basically offered me the equivalent of £1 per day.
When I told them I wanted to cancel, they then told me I would have to pay an early redemption fee as the broadband speed is good.
So to stop me being out of pocket, I am taking my holiday back and my company are going to invoice them for the days work I missed because of them *which is significantly more that my annual subscription)..
Probably get nothing back, as their customer service abysmal, atrocious, disgusting, horrific and 100% an utter disgrace.

DO NOT by NOW products... you have been warned !

We constantly have to disconnect and reconnect. I use more of my mobile data than I do the actual WiFi because on WiFi there’s a constant loading sign! It’s just ridiculous. Look else where because it’s not worth the money and we too will be moving to another provider as soon as possible!

    Totally and utterly annoying service!
Been using this broadband service for a few months now.
Every single day without fail, the middle light of 3 goes from green to orange, meaning whatever I'm doing or using stops!!

I've sent them lots of messages because you can't ring them, they say,do this, do that blah, blah, blah, just like Talk Talk, totally crap.

They just blame the user instead of sending someone to check on it!

I had the same kind of crap with TT and got nothing but excuses from them also.

If I was you, avoid these also, I will be switching as soon as my contract is ending.

Couldn't even get started. Coverage checker wouldn't recognise my phone number which I've had for 20 years. Contacted a rep on Twitter, showed them the screenshot, then they told me to phone them on a number which I had to pay for. If that's how they treat potential customers, it's a bad sign, so will avoid.

2+ months after cancelling my account, and I am still being contacted to pay for the past 2 months. After contacting them to find out why this has happened they deny that I cancelled the contract, even though they admit that they cancelled the services. Still, they insist I pay the money if I want to use their service in future (will also affect credit rating). A disgusting way to treat a customer and cheap way to make an extra few pounds.

Worst customer service experience of my life. 3 weeks and still no broadband even after notifying them weeks in advance. Was assured that we would receive compensation but now being told that we are not eligible because we have switched to other provider (after they told us to order and cancel on 4 separate occasions). Avoid like the plague.

Paying £20 a month for 70Mbps download and 19Mbps upload.

Whenever I have needed to contact support it takes about 30 seconds to get through.

We went through a house move, unfortunately this took 3 weeks longer than we were told it would, this is our only gripe with Now Broadband.

The broadband is reliable, we had an issue where it kept dropping on and off for five days, finally gave Now a call, they sent an engineer out within a few days and problem was fixed with the line.

Customer service all have English accents so it is easy to understand them.

Now hub 2 leaves a lot to be desired, no modem mode and no option to change the DNS provider. I've put my own router in the DMZ and using that to do the routing. 5G will provide a 400Mbps link to my devices, this drops off pretty quickly between rooms, using Unify AP-AC-LR to blanket the house in WIFI and have no issues.

All in all, I believe that I am getting a cracking service for £20 a month.

I'm getting good speeds when it works but it keeps dropping around 7 - 8 times a day. Engineers have been out at least 6 times and I've phoned at least 20 but everything is a temporary fix. Sky use the same router and people have the same problems. I know it's the router but they don't want to accept it not to mention the signal only reaches one room. Definitely avoid now broadband, get BT who can offer the same speed but they have the best routers, that's who I'll go with once my contract is up

It's a total disgrace, do not use this. It's always off for several days at a time and when it's on it's speed is way below promised. They refuse to terminate without fees. Even if you can prove your speeds. They say things like 'try connecting fewer devices" Working from home is impossible.

I have been so satisfied with the customer service from NowTV. Any time I have had to change anything or needed to cancel, it has been quick, easy and pleasant. The Wi-Fi itself has been quite unreliable but have had no trouble with speed or anything like that.

The 12 month package with Super Fibre was very good for students, the cheapest option we could find and generally worked.

The price is good, I’m sure the service is good, but the routers are sh1te. I was with talk talk previously for 8 years and only changed due to seeking a better price. The router signal quality is awful. I can sit 25 feet away with a clear line of sight to the router and not have a full signal. The signal is dropping out all the time too. There is no point in having super fast fibre if the routers are cheap and rubbish. I am yet to find a way of reporting this issue to Now as they seem to make it impossible to contact them, hence why I am leaving reviews. If the supplies better quality routers like talk talk do, it would be great.

Ever since moving into my house I've had intermittent connection issues. The process of diagnosing them with Now has been exceptionally painful. They make it as difficult as possible to reach the customer service and technical teams, and so far (11 months) the issue has not been resolved.

Now has consistently been difficult and are uninterested in finding the problem, even going so far as to say full internet dropouts are cause by too many connected devices. Surely a modern router can handle a few phones, two desktops and a few laptops? Either way, the issue still persists when just a single pc is connected via ethernet cable.

I take every opportunity to convince friends and family to avoid their service, but for most of my neighbours who also use Now don't need much convincing.

Now let themselves down with the old routers the provide. Had issues since day 1 (multiple connection drops) which were never related to the broadband supply coming in, but devices connecting to their hub/router (basically if more than 4 things are connected at once you risk issues). I’ve had replacement hubs, long phone calls to tinker with settings, openreach visits to relay cable…you name it, but still the cutouts remain. Considering we work from our home this is a big problem! After 6 months we finally decided to switch elsewhere!

If you’re a casual user, you might get by without issues - otherwise if you do you’ll need a better router, and Now won’t tell you which other router models work with their setup.

If I could give -100 then I would. Placed an order. Asked for the service to be supplied in my new home, but the hub to be sent to my current address. I wanted to have the hub arrive at my current address so I would be able to accept the delivery and have my internet available for the day I moved. Apparently they did this. I logged in to check on the hub delivery and it was being sent to my new address, 503 miles away. Called to have the address changed. Clearly that was stupid of me to think that was an easy fix. Had to cancel my order because the hub delivery address could not be changed!!!!!!!!! I was told if I placed another order, my internet active date would be 6 days later to what I had ordered. That is utterly idiotic considering my date was already booked. Ended up complaining. A manager was supposed to call me today, but obviously that was far too much work. Called just before 5 to find out when the manager would call and I was told I could get my chosen date. Placed another order. Then I got an email with them delaying it 4 days. Called and complained again. The agent, for the third time, requested a manager to call but he could not amend my active date. Again I cancelled. BT can get me online the next day, and I do not get why it was impossible to change my hub delivery, nor keep my original date. Apparently the manager who couldn't be bothered to call me today will call me tomorrow. I have a feeling hell may freeze over first. If they are this incompetent in placing an order, I've had a very lucky escape. I would rather pay an extra £5 a month to BT than deal with this incompetence, inconsideration and pure ignorance. Good riddance.

Ok so no, it's not the best broadband I've ever had but it gets the job done. I live in a small flat and there are still issues with coverage. What I must say though us their customer service has been excellent. They answer straight away, give clear and helpful advice and are just open and honest, I called around 4 to 5 times in total with several different queries and every person was excellent. Very good price, shame they don't supply my new address! No hassle to cancel at all 10/10 service - thank you! Keep doing what you're doing

The worst interaction I have ever had with a company. The company structure is specifically designed to prevent customers speaking with the people that can help them. They might be cheaper than alternatives but it is in no way worth it. With the time and hassle involved you will end up worse off. I wouldn't go near this company again.

Absolutely the worst provider I have ever been with. Customer service is non existent, always blaming the customer for the glacial broadband speed. Never take responsibility for their poor service. Broadband works 5 minutes out of the day and that's about it. NEVER GO WITH NOW BROADBAND. It will be the worst mistake of your life

I've used many ISP's in the past and work in IT. For some reason I decided to cheap out on broadband and went for NowTV. You definitely get what you pay for. Can't say anything bad about customer service as I've not had need to contact them.

NowTV provide possibly the worst hardware I've ever encountered and make it difficult for you to use 3rd party routers. 3rd party routers have to support DHCP option 61.
Initially the wifi was appalling. If you're suffering poor wifi, invest in a wireless AP or 2.

Also, the router itself. I'm paying for the full high speed and since moving in would get around 30mbps max. Since swapping out the rubbish NowTV unit for a combination of a 10 year old HG612 and an old Mikrotik router I'm seeing speeds of 55mbps download.

NowTV provide the worst kit ever!! Unless you're ok with replacing it all, go with someone else!

I dont know where to start first they couldnt install my broadband on time. I lost a 2 weeks of internet from start of my contract and wasnt compensated for the loss.

I couldnt understand why no access to social media, PSN and Microsoft Live.

THEY HAD RESTRICTED ACCESS IN OTHER WORDS SET PARENTAL CONTROLS TO CHILD MODE BY DEFAULT.

This is why I couldnt access certain sites they dont tell you this before signing up.

You would think you would have access to parental control but nope. What they call Broadband Buddy doesnt exist atleast if you try to navigate to it through your NOW broadband account.

I had to go over to the so called community whereby support is provided by their own customers??!!?

You couldnt make this crap up..in any case someone from the community provided a Broadband Buddy link.

Here its is for anyone looking for it:

    help.nowtv.com/article/set-up-and-manage-broadband-buddy

Next problem the link didnt work no matter which web browser (Firefox, Chrome or Edge) or which PC or laptop I used I got the same annoying message time after after.

'Well that didnt go to the plan..please try again later.'

So next step is to give them a call..right ?..except.

THEY INTENTIONALLY HIDE THERE CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBER...No joke!

Eventually after going through many web pages I managed to find there customer support number.

Here it is for anyone who is looking for it :

    0800 759 1213

How do I know that they intentionally hide it . Well I posted on their own NOW broadband community in order to help others in the same boat.

The very next day the post was removed !! and I was banned from making any further posts or comments on their community forum.

Now onto the actual phone call once i got through to the support team they were unapologetic and tried to blane me even I told them Ive tried multiple devices and web browsers.

There own community suggests they have Broadband Buddy issues since 2019 yet they still havent sorted it.

The support person put me hold while they looked into it and came back with theres no restrictions or kid mode set on your account and suggested I try and visit facebook.

Fortunately it worked and I now have full access to everything..the point is they blatantly lied. Prior to the phone call I was restricted..they only lifted the restriction after the call and made out I was at fault.

I'm not going to go into the bandwidth problems heres since its been covered by others here but expect to be eractic up and down.

This is my experience with these jokers so far ..yes its cheaper than everyone else at the moment but you get what you pay for.

    Be warned.

I placed my order for broadband on the 8th March. 6 weeks later and I'm still yet to be connected. They don't seem to have any clue as to the problem or simply don't care. I've phone up and emailed countless times but it's like trying to get help from a goldfish. Nothing is remembered, acknowledged or followed up. I keep getting told it's a priority, so God knows how slow they'd normally be. This company fills me with despair. And to top it off, I pay for their TV packages which I'm unable to use without internet.

I have had the worst experience trying to get my broadband installed with Now. First they blamed Openreach then they said my address did not exist all they keep saying is they will look into it 72 hours. Well it's been a week and still no service.
