The worst broadband company ever! Do not make the same mistake I did and join some other company, whatever pound you can save with them it will not be worth it. I had been for mora than a year with constant drops in my internet, I reported this and said that it was very likely the router starting to fail. The would just make me go round in circles doing some very time consuming diagnostics for nothing, as not until the router was fully gone and had no internet for 2 days they wouldn't agree to send me a new one. Not only this, but they said they would send and engineer to fix it to then discover this was never booked so one day without internet became 3 days. After this I said I would leave TalkTalk and move to another company, they managed to convince me to stay and said that there is this special "loyalty number" I could call for now on where they just send you a new router without barely asking anything. This I thought was incredible, as apparently, they do discriminate between their own clients. They make you go through a very long, unnecessary and impossible to stand process when you have internet issues, but then if you have threatened then to leave they give you this "fast track" number to get things done quickly. Why no just give a nice service ane costumer service in the first place is you hace been a loyal costumer from the beginning? Why have to suffer what I had to suffer of a whole year with constantly dropping line, 3 days of no internet and so much wasted time in the phone for costumer service? But the unprofessional attitude of this company doesn't end here The router was replaced and I had internet for literally 2 days before the router started failing again and then had no internet once more, my guess, this replacement router wasn't new and was a second hand or repaired one. I said that was it and was going to switch companies once and for all as this was not acceptable. I called this loyalty number to report the issue and the answer from the lady was "I can send you a new router right now if you stay with us if not I need to pass you with normal costumer service and have to go through the whole process again to get a new router", amazing. I refused to stay with them as this was now becoming something of a joke, so I had to be on the phone 1 whole hour during working hours and is the only times you can call and argue quite badly (otherwise it would have been 2h on the phone) to get a new router sent. They finally agreed to book me an engineer to replace the router for the next day, and this appointment was cancelled by them few hours before the appointment on a Saturday so I had to wait all weekend with no internet until a nee appointment on Monday. This is absolutely unbelievable. This whole things has caused my levels of stress and anxiety to go off the roof. Bad service, really cheap dodgy hardware and the most unbelievably unprofessional costumer service to. PLEASE, DO NOT GET INTO A CONTRACT WITH THIS PEOPLE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE AND MENTAL HEALTH.

⚠️Worst broadband in uk⚠️
I was customer by last 12yrs and I payed £52per/m for 14mb/s - 1,4mb/s of real speed. Customer service doesn't work. I feel cheated after so many years. Many times in day is disconecction so makes me a lot of problems when working on computer...

Horrible service. Keeps cutting out. Not sure this company should actually be allowed to remain in service. It borders on a scam.

I was a TalkTalk broadband customer for many years. However, the first time something went wrong (wireless router lost power), the customer service was SO awful that I had to change providers. Since leaving, the customer service has continued to be awful... including them being seemingly unaware that I cancelled my account and continuing to send bills. If ANYTHING goes wrong while you're a TalkTalk customer, it's very unlikely that your problem will be resolved efficiently... and you'll be stuck without internet and trying to get sense out of very confused call centre staff for weeks on end. Avoid TalkTalk if you value your sanity.

I cancelled my contract, returned the equipment & they continued to take my direct debit!!!…
They won’t return my money!!!

I logged in to my Talk talk account. There is an option to postpone the payment.by 1 day. Accepted and received a confirmation email. The next day I got an email saying that I had been charged £12 for late payment. After 5 minutes I called customer service. The lady who answered had to talk to her supervisor and confirmed that they would not add any fees to the bill. My next bill was increased by £12!!! The customer does what he wants anyway. I will never use their services again and would not recommend them to anyone

‘Horizon Lite’ Talk Talk didn’t renew when my contract ended, but didn’t tell me; kept taking payments.. and repeatedly told me the lack of broadband was down to an unresolved technical fault. 5 months later they finally admit they had disabled the service. I am now fighting for a refund, but am getting nothing but delaying, stalling and avoidance. AVOID!
