    Just moved from BT to Vodafone and so far everything is as good as BT only much cheaper. No regrets for moving.

    I reviewed every comment about Vodafone and hesitated before changing from BT but I'm pleased I decided to take the risk. I've moved to Vodafone broadband from BT, changing my monthly payment from £61.50 (BT) to £26 with Vodafone. Here's my experience:
    Application - easy, took a few minutes;
    Router receipt - arrived within the promised hour delivered by DPD (DPD are brilliant by the way);
    Set up - "Connect in the morning and be up and running by midnight" - well that didn't happen. Plugged in at 9 am, lights on the router all red for 30 SECONDS, two minutes later the lights were green and I was online! Perfect!
    Speed - no change from BT fibre II;
    Continuity - continuous service NO drop outs - all good after two weeks;
    Customer service - received texts and emails telling me what was going to happen and when - and they met their promises;
    Overall customer experience - 10/10 delighted.
    £35.50 less that BT and I've got the same broadband service.
    What's not to like - thanks Vodafone.

    Moved to Vodafone from Origin and what a difference. On Origin I was lucky to get 10 - 15 Mb and was told my line would not support anything better.

    Swap to Vodafone and I now get 50+ Mbs speeds. OK I don't get their guaranteed 55Mbs but they have taken 15% off my payments till they can get 55 so I am happy.

    No dropouts, no slowing just a fast reliable connection. The only possible gripe I have is there modem is not the best and the WIFI coverage is not great but you can use your own modem no problem and setup is easy.

    I have nothing but praise for Vodafone, brilliant service on a brilliant system, thank you Vodafone.

    Top class service. They delivered everything they promised. Installed on time and the broadband speed delivered is as advertised. I have no negative comments only positive things things to say at this time. I would recommend this service. I was with BT and this service is equal to BT at a vastly cheaper price.

    Brilliant, was with Origin (urgh) was slow, just service was diabolical, took 4 days to answer an email to be told to ring, after 2 hours waiting to be answered hung up

    Vodafone are brilliant, old ISP said my line would not support anything over 25mb download, somehow Vodafone have miraculously achieved over 55mb, now that is just a tad quicker than 25mb Mr Origin.

    Cant rate customer service and I have not needed to call them but everything works just fine and so fast now.

    Switch to them, you won't regret ir.

    Excellent. Never had a single problem. Coming to an end of the 2nd 18 month contract. Very stable service. The latest router is excellent although does not have as good wifi range as the BT router, but is very reliable; the first router was rubbish. Im on the 60Meg service and get around 50-55meg.

    Puzzelled by all the poor reviews.

    I am going to eat humble pie here. I had a terrible experience with a Vodafone Store at Braehead (Glasgow), and I was extremely vexed by the lack of any response to an online complaint I had raised with Vodafone, within the 5 day window that Vodafone promises. I was on the horns of dilemma with cancelling an impending Vodafone Fibre Broadband connection despite the risk of losing a market leading offer on telephone and broadband connection. I gave vent to my feeling here on this site a couple of days ago. However, I decided to hold my nerve and go through with the switch over from BT, which happened yesterday night at midnight. Yesterday I got an email from Vodafone asking if I would ring up a number, which I did today. After taking a few more details, they confirmed that they had carried out an investigation around my complaint, and wanted to apologise for the poor service in this instance. As a gesture of goodwill, they waived one month's SIM charges.

    As for the Broadband connection, I called up Vodafone to let them know that I was struggling with getting online even though the telephone line was working perfectly. It was explained to me that an engineer from Openreach would have to physically connect me up at the local cabinet, and to tide me over the short delay of a maximum of 1 day, I was offered 50GB of complimentary data allowance to tether our devices to. On the 4G network, this was blazingly fast enough. Earlier than expected, I've now got connected up within 9 hours of my morning call, and the speeds are properly eye watering - 74 Mbps download and 17 Mbps upload.

    I am taking the trouble of correcting the record here for the sake of my own conscience. Good service is hardly ever reported, and bad service is hugely overrepresented in the feedback reviews. If my current experience with Vodafone continues, I would urge everyone to be sure they have good reasons not to move over to Vodafone. Their prices are simply too good to turn down.

    I will of course report back here should I experience any instability with the connection speeds, or other unforeseen problems

I get 50Mbps over Wifi and 70-80Mbps over Ethernet. I couldnt be happier. Get the speeds or money off my bill 100% recomended. If you dont mind typing or writing you have a instant messenger that puts you through to someone who is very helpfull. I wont be switching for long while if this is the service they continue to offer

    I was just after fast, inexpensive 'no frills' broadband and that's exactly what I got. I went for Unlimited Fibre 76.

    No hassle, the change over worked when they said it would, nice router. No hassle and day one it was 4 times faster than my old sky instantly getting 65 mbs which I suspect will hit 70+ mbs once its settled in.

    At last, a 21st century internet connection at a very reasonable cost.

    Never had to call customer service, which is fine by me.

    I'm not impressed easily but this has been a great experience (so far!)

    I’ve had Vodafone broadband since June, I replaced virgin media 100mg broadband as the costs were getting out of control and for one person I was clearly overpaying for speed I didn’t really need. After switching, It’s almost felt like there has been no difference in speed and my Vodafone broadband. Has consistently been over the advertised speed. Very satisfied so far

    People tend to only write reviews when things go wrong & they want to moan, so I thought I'd make a point of writing a positive review if all went well.
    Switched from a major broadband/TV supplier (cancelled the TV years ago). Struggled to find good reviews on any suppliers, so deicded to bite the bullet & go vodafone

    Service: Fast & efficient. all done online, no complications. I never had to contact my old supplier.

    Delivery: As they stated 3 working days before switch date chosen by me.

    Instructions: Simple & clear. No IT degree required.
    Installation: They asked new router gets installed in the morning & it should all be done by midnight, but I forgot.
    Installed around 5pm...fully up & running in 10mins. Speed tested within an hour, just over the minimum they indicated.
    Use their app to change router name & password...makes it much easier.

    1 week later: No issues at all. Running at speed, 6 wifi items connected & 2 hard wires.

    All at £18 less than was quoted for the same upgrade from old supplier.

    l was with BT, it cost a fortune with broadband and line rental...vodafone will saved us almost £100 every 3 months with its latest offer...i nearly didnt go ahead because of all the bad reviews but the customer service, the changeover, the router, the speed and reliability has all been perfectly fine, no problems as yet, and hopefully never! so there you are..risk it if youre thinking of saving money, we've got exactly the same service as bt gave us but a damn sight cheaper!!

    I am glad I didnt listen to all the negative reviews I was a little worried after I signed up but had my broadband 2 weeks now and its been very reliable and stable faster than the NOW TV broadband it replaced but just a bit slower than the BT broadband I had before that but so much cheaper even better price too as I have Vodafone Mobile. I got the superfast 2 which syncs at 42 but I expect that as im not close to the exchange i got 38 with Nowtv and 48 with BT for reference.

    I've never before felt compelled to write a positive review, but seeing all these negative reviews I thought I'd try to balance it out. Sure the customer service is difficult to reach (whose isn't), but the Web chat is not bad, and I have been able to get through to talk to a human when needed to. Installation was on time, had an issue with transferring the phone line over, but they did it on the next working day.
    But the speed is awesome. I got an excellent deal 500mbit for <£30 a month. Its symmetric too, so you can upload videos etc super quick! So much better than openreach! Stable line so far (two weeks).
    Very happy with it

    Having been on this review site before making my choice of broadband provider, it was evident that every mainstream provider has exactly the same level of bad reviews, so my decision was based on my own gut feeling instead of reliable internet reviews, it seems it’s true that a huge majority of internet reviewers only post because they want to share their bad experience, and people who have had a perfectly satisfactory experience seldom share it online. So I would like to post mine here. I chose Vodafone mainly because their super fast 2 fibre deal was £12 cheaper per month than Sky. We were moving house so my previous provider ruled themselves out due to inability to provide a service at my new address.... strange as I have moved to a more urban area. Anyway, switch on day I had no service by 7pm. I rang customer service and they had sorted it within an hour, I was away from home at the time so they rang my wife at home and sorted it out with her. Job done. A week in I am more than happy with the service. I have had no interruptions to my service, I have streamed a few premier league games and am getting upwards of 60 mbps speeds. The only negative so far is that my house is a three storey new build and in the top floor en suite the wifi signal is very weak. Apart from that minor I would recommend Vodafone broadband.

    After switching from BT and reading reviews about Vodaphone I wasn't expecting a smooth switch over. "I WAS WRONG" my switch-over date was 29/06/22 the engineers from Openreach called at 8.15 am and asked where I wanted the connection terminated and as I have a mesh system to extend out my wifi they took a longer route and fitted it right next to my existing setup and made it very easy the set up to what I had before. On completion of the installation which involved a fiber cable running about 200mtrs and clipping it to my neighbors house wall for 10mtr and then stretching the fiber cable to my house and running it to the back of my property(a very neat job well done) After unpacking the route etc and setting it all up, I was back online and all was working apart from the phone which I was told by the engineer it is the following day for that to start working. Just as he promised it did. I did have to telephone customer service on the day as we were not sure where the phone was plugged in and after a long conversation given the wrong information, figured it out for ourselves eventualy so cs lose a star for that. The performance is over double what I was getting with BT and has been stable throughout. Overall I have been impressed by the engineers (Openreach) and Vodafone and hopefully long may it continue.

    Moved from a cancelled 2 month disaster with BT. How OFCOM permits this shower to trade as a company is beyond me .The back office function is chaotic and the Indian call centre good for nothing. BT uses unacheivable line speeds to sell broadband . Vodafone changeover came and went with no issue .The promised speed is exactly where it should be and something never achieved with BT. Vodafone does not seem to traffic manage or prioritise . This maybe due to the massive capacity of the old C&W business fibre network Vodafone bought in 2012 .
    I have very stable bb at the promised speed and my monthly bill has been halved. Yes Vodafone has had its problems but there is a will to improve unlike BT who just want your money.....

    Immensely happy with Vodafone. Was previously on Post Office, calls and broadband. since the switch we're getting greater than 10x faster download speeds (6~mb to current 62-71mb, both confirmed on Vodafone App and Ookla) and it makes all the difference. Had the occasional drop out, but they are usually resolved within 30 seconds, far quicker than any we had with PO, and those are very rare. Wit the £4 add on for weekend and evening calls, were paying almost exactly the same for better speed, better service, and the same phone line. Could not be happier.

    Had BT broadband for years but the internet package crept up over the years from £25 to £65 which is a ridiculous price.
    I chose Vodafone broadband as it seemed the best deal for me. I’ve had it running for a fortnight now and never lost a connection and the speed is on par with BT. I live in a very rural area so was quite worried about the speed but really nothing to worry about. What’s more my neighbour who can’t afford broadband is connected to mine and she can get a connection anywhere in her property so the router also has a really good signal… no booster needed.
    So far it’s been excellent but I guess time will tell.

    Everyone reviews for bad experiences. I've been with Vodafone for the best part of a year and it's been a very good and reliable year. The router is reliable and has good range within my 3 bed house. I can stream seamlessly and I can't actually think of a single time it has done the annoying "buffering" thing! Customer service when I called over the last 2 days has been excellent - fair and not pushy at all. Overall I've been pleased with Vodafone's broadband.

    I was concerned by all the negative reviews I'd read, but my experience has been great.

    I switched to Vodafone after my previous provider increased the price. As a Vodafone mobile customer, they offered me 38mbps fibre for less than I was already paying for standard broadband, which was a great deal.

    They cancelled my existing provider for me, which made the switching process very simple.

    The switchover wasn't seamless as something went wrong on the scheduled day and the issue had to be referred to Openreach. But, as a Vodafone mobile customer, they gave me 50gb extra mobile data (with the promise of more if the problem couldn't be fixed quickly) so I could use my phone as a hotspot. This tided me over nicely until the problem was fixed in 4 days, without the need for an engineer visit.

    Since then, I've been really impressed. I consistently get download speeds of at least 32mbps (despite my previous provider citing the phone lines into my building as an excuse for slow speeds). The connection has been very stable too.

    The Vodafone router is a vast improvement on my old provider's. The Wi-Fi now covers every corner of my home, eliminating some annoying blackspots. Their app for controlling the router is really handy too.

    I realise others have had worse experiences - but, based on my own in London, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vodafone.

    Most reviews tend to be negative, because people need somewhere to vent. I know plenty of people who've had significant problems with Vodafone so they're obviously not perfect....but nor is any other company. However - I thought I'd share my experience of switching from BT standard to Vodafone 38mbs fibre.

    Frankly...it was superb. Plenty of communication about what was happening and when. They dealt with BT and all I got from BT was "This is when you're leaving and this is the date of your final bill". On the day; BT stopped....Vodafone didn't start. I phoned Vodafone customer service (based in Glasgow for Broadband) and they were excellent. Ended up needing an engineers visit the following week. So, because i'm with Vodafone on mobile; they gave me 50GB of data to use my phone as a hotspot whilst I waited for the engineer. 4G tethering meant I had excellent broadband the entire time.
    Engineer arrived (Openreach) and told me the phone line had been wrongly connected at the exchange (by Openreach). Took him 20 minutes to sort it out. Broadband kicked in within the hour and it's been consistently great since. broadband speed tests show I'm getting everything promised...and all for over £10 a month less than BT standard 17mbs.
    So I'm a very happy customer and happy to share the experience.

    I have the new style of router from Vodafone - which apparently they used to just give their business customers. The model is a THG3000g and frankly it seems to be pretty good - apparently has beam forming so I get a really strong wifi signal (60 mbs ) around all the house.
    Previously had the Huawei HHG2500 and this was a somewhat lacking piece of kit - wifi dropping and patchy coverage.
    The actual internet connection has always been solid with only the occasional (once every 6 months for less than an hour) outage.
    I'm happy with the level of service.

    I have been in really pain with talktalk for a year and a half. At the end of my contract I told talktalk I am leaving and they asked me what company are you transferring for. I told them Vodafone and I still remember when the agent told me vodafone is a beginner in the field of broadband and since you are using the same cable to your home you will still suffer from the bad speed. I said whatever. Today I want to say it was a relief that I moved to Vodafone because I never had any problems with the connection and they really have a better customer service than talktalk

    Don't usually write reviews but felt Vodafone are having a hard time here, so thought worth putting in a positive review for those who are not sure. I joined Fibre 76 this month, which took around 2 weeks from placing my order. All I can say is not one single problem from signing up to writing this e-mail. They kept me informed right the way through the process, equipment arrived well in time of connection and since being connected It's very stable (no disconnects) and I'm getting very good reliable speeds in both upload and download for a fraction of the price I paid with BT, who were absolutely useless in all aspects (Customer service being the worst) during issues I had.

    Although I had my reservations because of the reviews on this site, I have no regrets switching and based on my own experience would recommend them.

    Now a week into Vodafone service after changing from BT. Increased from just around 20Mbs with BT to over 30 with VF. Changeover very smooth - unplugged BT Hub and plugged in VF hub. Simples! Price just about halved including landline rental from both packages.

    I had issues to start off with. I contacted Vodafone broadband and they sorted it. Half of Vodafone line is owned by them the other half is owned by bt openreach. Alot depends on how good a quality the line is and how far away you are from the connection. If you contact Vodafone they will sort peoples problems out

    Vodafone 76mb Service £24pcm

    Started with the 38mbs service, on go live date I connected router but no service. Rang Vodafone and they had to "flick a switch" at their end. Within 5 minutes connected.

    Router App confirmed sync at 40mbs. Ookla confirmed similar.

    A year on and upgraded to 76mbs at the discounted rate of £24pcm. Router app confirmed sync at 79.9mbs. On WiFi I'm averaging about 74mbs downstairs and about 65mbs at to of house.

    Had a few issues with WiFi dropping out. Vodafone were very good, we worked together to rule out issues one by one. A replacement router fixed the fault.

    Billing is accurate.
    Customer service really do try to help and are a far very from Vodafone's legendary mobile phone customer service of old (not a compliment). From my experience (and people may choose to agree or disagree with this) when there are issues it can frequently be because the customer hasn't listened and followed instructions.

    All in all it is a good service for a good price with good customer service. Would I recommend? If you are in a fibre area then definitely yes.

    I'm new to Vodafone I've had the home broadband a few weeks and I've had no issues at all I've constantly had a good service and can't Slag vodafone off at all
    I didn't know what to get when choosing broadband so chose vodafone as I'm on pay as you go and tbh I'm glad I did everyone I know is either on sky or BT and there always moaning about something or other.
    Don't knock until you try that's my advise.

    Major hiccup with the router when BB went live took 3 days to solve sync problem and a new router had to be sent out. Customer service was excellent the people in the Newcastle call center were very friendly and helpful and spoke a language I could understand. As for speed i am paying for 38Mb and getting 37Mb which is a much better ratio than the 200Mb I was paying for with Virgin Media and getting 74MB

    I have had 900 Mb/s fibre-to-the-premises Internet through Vodafone for about three years. I have enjoyed good reliable service, with practically no interruptions. The customer service, (the very few times that I needed something from them, has been knowledgeable and helpful.
