We are the cheapest. We promise to never raise your prices. This is true. What they don't reveal in the sales pitch is that the call when they sign you up is the only nice call you will have with them, the only one from a UK call centre. Every other interaction with them us to people all over the world that do not listen to you, that cut you off and the internet is patchy at best, And this is what they call faster fibre, what fibre are you using? Cotton?
I dislike them with every fibre (get it) of my being. I ordered from them and I have been getting buffering when trying to stream. yes there was a time when that was normal and we just took it but it's 2019! So after 5 days of this I say I want to cancel and they say my cooling off period ended before I even got connected as it was so far in the future. So how can I know if I do want to stay??? You see how they trick you. We cant connect you for 3 weeks but you only have 2 weeks to decide if we're any good. Avoid! Walk walk away. If I can save just one customer from this misery I am currently battling, my work is done. Please spread the word!

Worst UK Internet provider by far. When we moved, they cut off our internet 4 days before we had scheduled it in a phone call. They owe us £50 but only (eventually) refunded £17, after infuriating and pointless phone calls and chats.

Worst company service I've ever experienced in my life.

Somebody called 'Alice' gave my number to TalkTalk, obviously the wrong number by accident or something. TalkTalk have not stopped phoning and texting me, and giving out my number to their 'engineers' who say they are coming around.

THIS IS ILLEGAL. Because of GDPR you CANNOT keep my details if I have not provided you them.

Called TalkTalk several times, wasting several hours of my time. Always waited at least 15 minutes before someone answered the phone. None of them could speak good English. One woman called Destiny hung up on me, was extremely rude and unhelpful.

They said they cannot remove my number if I am not the account holder. Ridiculous! How hard can it be?! Irritated beyond belief. Tried to block them but it's not possible. This company have really inconvenienced my life and I know I will never use them because of their terrible customer service and downright stupidity.

    HORRIFIC! AVOID!

I have had the misfortune of being with Talk Talk for the past year; I have had to call at least once per month sometimes more due to failed connection. Customer service is non-existent, might as well be talking to a robot.

Currently there is a cable break in my area and I very much got the impression from customer services that "its not just you that's been affected you know". It is irreverent to them that I've been without internet for the last 7 days and they don't intend to look at the problem until Saturday.

When I asked to terminate my contract, they kept deflecting the conversation and went on to say that the cancellation team will not accept my call as I am not willing to pay a termination fee.

Surely this is against OFCOM/trading standard regulations??

Disgusting customer service I found out last week after spending months trying to access my online account that they had raised my bill in October 2015 I had no notification and the man I spoke to this morning admitted that he could see from the system that no notification was sent. A manager I spoke to yesterday was very rude and sarcastic and told me it was my fault that I didn't know about the price increase and that I was liable for finding things out for myself because I joined up online. He tried to tell me I hadn't spoken to anyone when signing up which is a lie as I didn't want to go in blind they are refusing to let me leave without paying a cancellation fee which I think is disgusting I told them that if they couldn't be bothered to send me notification of a price increase (during a fixed contract) then I can't be bothered to pay a cancellation fee all I keep getting is we can lower your bill for the rest of your contract blah blah no help no compassion they need shutting down in my opinion

The WORST internet provider with the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
They use hidden T&Cs wherever they can to get extra money out of you at the end of a fixed term contract, or to cancel an existing account. They are not transparent or open and will stop at nothing to push a cheap deal on you which will cost you 3 times as much 12 months later, without being clear about the change. I have had 2 accounts with them and both have had hidden charges.
Ridiculously slow internet speed coupled with hidden costs and terrible customer service - 45 minute wait just to change an address.
    Will never use again.

Switched to talktalk in Feb as cheaper and was promiised a minimum guarunteed speed. For the first 10 weeks the tv service was awful , after writing and being ignored i rang 3 times, eventually an engineer came out and the box was faulty. No compensation! The internet is so so slow that you just want to chuck it out the window. I rang anotger 3 times being passed from one foreign speaker to another to be told my speed is 4mbps ! It should at least be 6.2 but still no resolution , just tokd to cancel i must pay £265. I am now gking to CAB and writing to ofcom. DO NOT USE TALK TALK ......I AM AMAZED AS TO HOW TGEY ARE STILL ALLOWED TO RUN A BUSINESS.

Don`t touch with a barge pole, if you see there reps walk the other way. they should be taken to court for impersonating an internet product. As for customer services it`s a disgrace why can they not give you an honest answer it is incredible how they can keep you on the phone for that length of time and basically lie when they say a manager will ring you back. It never happens!!! Mine was supposed to be an upgraded package ( Laughable!!!) If you want to get a call off them cancel your direct debit they`ll soon ring you then.

I was on the phone to them for an hour, Intailly being patient whist they do the checks to why I my Tv broadband not working after they couldn't see a fault then told me to check all the wires plugs etc.. THEN get a screw drivier and take apart the phone line! Or pay for an engineer! I didn't join talk talk to do an electrians job! The service is terrible, they are a con and get away with taking your money whist providing awful service!! So basically pay for a service your not receiving or pay £325 to cancel. I am 59....This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
Absolutely terrible customer service, poor complaints procedure and in my opinion they don't give a damn for their customers. It's just about greed and shareholder return. Will NEVER use them again and I hope they get taken over and the senior management replaced as they obviously have complete disregard for the bread and butter customers that pay their exorbitant salaries.

Countless problems with both internet and phone line. Takes hours to using phone to actually speak to anyone and they hang up and have to start all over again. Same happens with talktalk chat they just disconnect you and you have to start all over again. I also recieved 16 cold calls in the one day. When i used who called me it says it talktalk sales team. How idiotic can you be when i am already a customer. If you cancel payment because it doesn't work they threaten you with debt collectors. Sales teams are UK based but if you have any issues all technical help and complaints is India and they are near impossible to understand. They are also rude and if you as soon as you get a bit wound up with the slow progress they just disconnect you. Amateur outfit. DO NOT USE TALKTALK!!!

I have a print-out from Jeanette at Talk Talk's CHAT, stating my broadband would start on 1st March. This has now been changed to 3rd March, suggesting I'll be left without broadband.
On 14th February I was promised that a Welcome Pack would come by mail. This hasn't arrived.
72 minutes on the Talk Talk CHAT yesterday failed to resolve these issues. So far, pathetic.
    I'll contine with updates.

From start to finish this has been by far the worst experience of dealing with any company.
It took 20 days to go live on the 6th Feb by which point my cooling off period in which you can cancel had ended.
I did not have speeds above 1MBPS which meant my phone 4 g was much faster! You can’t load any pictures with those speeds let alone play a you tube video!
I phoned them pretty soon after then to complain, I was on the phone for over one hour while they tested the line and was told I had good speeds in the area, they were not able to fix the problem so they sent out another router.
The router came and still the same problem. I phoned about 3-4 times after that in the month of February and was told I couldn’t cancel as my 20 day cooling off period had ended. Each phone call repeated the last one and I almost cried with frustration as the person on the other end did not seem to listen and seemed to be speaking from a script. I work long hours and I gave up phoning them in the end.

I ended up cancelling my direct debit in July. I phoned them to tell them I wanted to terminate the contract as they had been in breach of the contract. I had to cry before they would listen.

I was told they had agreed to cancel but would be charged a termination fee. I stated how this was illegal as it was them who had been in breach of the contract by not providing any internet. They said how was they supposed to know if I had not phoned them. I later found out they can test the internet usage by escalating the complaint.

I was told they had agreed to waiver the cancellation fee and cancel my contract.

Then I was sent more late charge bills!

This has been so stressful, do not touch talk talk they have caused a lot of stress on top of an already very stressful busy life. They are very dishonest, and the only way you can get anywhere with them is to escalate complaints which is very time consuming.

My friend who lives close by also had the same experience. She cried after speaking to their customer service department after not being able to cancel and not being provided with any internet.

I've been with talk talk for 2 years and the prices have been creeping up slowly. my 12 months was up so I decided to shop around for a better broadband package. I called talk talk to indicate that I was thinking of leaving them and ask if they could offer me a better deal. INDIA!!!! Need I say more???? I was on the phone for almost an hour whereby he offered me a better deal, then added some unknown additional cost on which made the deal more expensive than before. Every time I threatened to hang up he asked me to hold on until he spoke with his supervisor. He would then come back on the phone with a better offer, only to go on to add another cost on......taking us back to yet another more expensive deal. I have never in my life had such an infuriating customer services call with anyone!!! I ended up slamming the phone down on him and telling him that I would be leaving talk talk. Overall, an appalling service.

DONT SIGN UP- It has been an absolute nightmare...I signed up to get my internet installed in early August...it is now nearly end of September and I still dont have internet. I've had 3 engineers coming to my flat - saying I will have internet in 24-48 hrs (Its been 1.5 months(!!) Longest 48 hrs I have ever experienced). TalkTalk have also sent 3 other engineers to fix the box outside the property...supposedly. In total I have had 6 engineers trying to set up my internet! I think I have called TalkTalk nearly everyday now for a months time but still no sign of internet. Customer service is not escalating the problem to anyone- be prepared to repeat yourself daily when you call them. It is just a rip - off ! BIG WARNING- SPARE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. You are better off paying the extra 5 quid to sign up with another provider

Do not use. They are ripoff and the customers service is very poor as their staff are very rude.
I used talktalk for 4 years and it was problem all the way. I moved out of my flat following domestic violence and could not move my things. I called talktalk to inform them and to cancle my contact but the cancellation charge was too much so we agreed to be paying monthly until the end of my contract like i was using it even though i was not using it.
When it was 2weeks to the end of my contract, i got an email from talktalk that my line was disconnected and i had to pay an early termination charge which i did. I was given a code to that effect.
Just today i received another email from them of £85 claiming its a charge for the you view box. When i called talktalk and tried to explain that i had paid my finnal bill and the box is part of my package. I also tried to explain that my land lord moved my things out of my apartment and i cannot lay my hands on the box but the staff said that is not his business and that he doesn't care what i do that i had to either return the box or pay £85.
He was so rude and not customer friendly.
Talktalk will charge you for things you never bargain for. I have also been charged before for calls i did not make.if i did not check my talktalk account i would not have known.

Moving home, tried to book move to talk talk through a comparison service but needed to change the dat of installation direct with TT.
I have just wasted 90 minutes jumping through hoops talking to offshore call centres trying to find someone who understands that enabling BBand 10 days before we move into our new house makes zero sense.
Talk about pulling teeth.....if this is what TT's customer service is like before we've actually become a paying customer God help anyone who needs help once they're tied into an 18month contract.
We'll be going to BT instead!

It was a waste of time and money for calling everyday at least half an hour on the phone.

Started with terrible customer service and took six weeks to get connected. Really dreadful broadband speeds, connection drops up to 20 times over the course of the day. router is poor, had to buy a booster system just to get connection in the bedroom in our tiny flat. Would advise anyone considering talktalk to please look at other options available, it's actually confusing to me how they manage to maintain such a large market share with this level of service

I have spent an incredible amount of time trying to get my problem sorted out. The issue i have is the broadband cutting off each time the landline is used and the general poor quality of the broadband when it is available. This has been a continued problem for 6 months , 2 engineers multitude of calls to patronising technical staff who have all made failed promises to improve service.
Yesterday summed whole company up. called to cancel contract spoke for 10mins with someone trying to keep me with TT after this they told me they could not cancel contract it had to be a manager ..put on hold waited 20 mins and then disconnected. TT manager rang back spoke for further 15 m trying to keep me with TT with endless promises advising me that compensation can only be given when problem resolved. When i said i had not changed my mind TT MANAGER SAID HE COULD NOT CANCEL it had to be contracts dept on hold for further 15m disconnected .During time on phone wirfi disconnected.
Not prepared to waste anymore time with this company who had the nerve to say that i would have to pay a fee to cancel contract, even though the for last 5 months they have failed to honour contract.
Simple solution for me which i should have done ages ago is to cancel direct debit and wait for TT to take any further action which i shall obviously defend.

Worse company i have ever had dealings with.

I have been subjected to the Talk Talk takeover of Tesco phone and broadband services. Migration date was given as 8th January 2016 . I am currently not happy - no phones since Wednesday 6th. Called support several times and they have not resolved. This is racking up my mobile bill as calls can last for 30 minutes.Making matters worse they ask for my account number for security purposes (I have not been given one( and a password (I have not set one up) It seems "Catch 22" all over as is seems that I am neither recognised by Tesco or Talk Talk. I received an Email link to register account - and was disappointed(alas not surprised)to find that this did i not work.
I am being sent in circles by support using phones , texts , etc. and quite frankly don't know where to turn next. Others here have invoked OFCOM.
Anyone suffering similar problems ? Anyone been successfully migrated ?

Without doubt the worst provider, with the worst customer service. They were stealing from me every month,I say stealing as I was paying for a service I never had with them.I was 20 days without phone or internet, and the compensation I was offered? £20.00, insulting to say the least. Their appalling customer service is the worst I've ever suffered from any company, their agents don't give a damn, and openly treat you as a nuisance. don't bother with Ofcom neither as you have to be six weeks without service before they lift a finger to help you, which is unacceptable, surely it should be two weeks but I guess that means they actually have to do some work for a change.i wish that talk talk was forcibly shut down and the poor victims aka customer's properly compensated for the lies and deceit that this wicked company dupe people with. Surely when you leave in September you shouldn't be billed In November and January for a service I never had. Also please use English call centres not African because we don't understand what you say
