    First time customer of fibre broadband with Vodafone. Wish I had never transitioned - so very very unreliable - when it is good (rarely) very very good but mostly it is bad. Customer Service are very polite and have tried numerous 'fixes' none of which have worked. Am locked in for 2 years and I am exhausted already. 5 mins to attach a document to an email to send. Denied access to bank - took too long to connect etc. etc. Shut out from paying for an item, when I finally got to checkout. So wish I had not done this - regular traditional ADSL was just fine.....

    Ultimately all connections are supplied by openreach. BUT the horrific hardware Vodafone supply as a Wi-Fi router is the bottom of the dregs. Constantly failing. Restarts don’t always resolve it needing to be turned off for 30mins at a time to have a breather. Still some devices not able to connect.

    Rejection of correct passwords.

    Absolute nightmare. Please just stay away.

    I started my vodafone gigacube plan for 24 months in October 2022. It worked perfectly for the first 2-3weeks then issues started happening where I'd lose connection for hours randomly throughout the day affecting my ability to work from home. I called in multiple times and the agents tried different ways of fixing it. They concluded that it was due to maintenance works in my area which affected the signal and would only be resolved in over a month. As this was past my cooling period, I could not cancel the contract. They said that they would not charge me until the maintenance was stopped and the issue was gone. They would let me know when that was the case but I was never notified. In February 2022 I realised that I was still being charge and called them up. They said that they would only compensate me for 1 month. - Bear in mind that the month of september was full of the cube dropping service for hours which caused me a lot of issues working where I had to leave my house to a cafe for wifi. In October it completely stopped working and the vodafone team concluded that there was maintenance works and would only stopped in over a month from then. They said they would let me know when it was resolved but I never got notified...

    Fast forward to the start of March now, they have found that the cube was also having problems and have fixed it but will only reimburse me one month of a bill when I had not used it for the last 5 months... All phone call evidences are recorded by the team to show the calls I had been through with them to evidence the above and my data usage being 0 all the past months is also tracked on there.

    If I had known taking up a fresh contract with Vodafone would end up having broken and no service the next month +, I would have never done so...

    They are intending to only refund one month of a bill.

    Absolute rubbish. I’m paying for 500mgs yet every time at peak hours connection goes. Can’t wait to get out of this contract - no doubt Vodafone will increase by 13% this year

    Moved house on the 6th January 2023, Vodafone confirmed an activation date of 12th January, this was delayed and delayed.. eventually it was confirmed for the 24th January and the BT engineer visited the property, did what he needed to do and all that was left was Vodafone to activate the line.. nothing for days, chased them and it was clear there was a fault with the router, promised an engineer would visit within 24 hours, nothing!! I complained on the 4th February and cancelled that day with them, went with Sky instead and the process was so smooth and I have broadband. Honestly the stress and upset Vodafone caused is unbelievable, I won’t even use them again.

    I don’t peoples chose Vodafone , doesn’t work at all , we are on 2023 and still don’t have any connection, is so embarrassing, hopefully they gonna fail

    Absolutely rubbish , 8th of February was my original set up date , I received my broadband set box there was no confirmation about an engineer coming he just turned up and still no broadband working, after going through the conversation with the robot on the other side for over an hr I decided to ring them they said keep the broadband box switched on it should go online , nothing happened after 24hrs so I rang them again , they couldn't find my account so finally they found it and told me the old box will have to be cancelled and a new one will arrive and another delay of 10 to 14 days to be online, the box was booked in to come between 12 and 1pm that day , I received an email and a text message to say my broadband and engineer had been cancelled for no apparent reason , the box arrived on time that day, I rang them again they didn't have a clue that the box had been sent out and a engineer booked , they were going to send me another broadband box so I would have had 3 by the time it was set up , I'm still not online it's the worst service I have ever experienced , I've probably spent 5hrs in calls and messaging a robot , absolutely disgusting service and very stressful ....

    Didnt even get as far as getting a package with Vodaphone. Got a text to say 'unknown technical issue' had meant my online order didnt go through (despite getting emails saying it had). Then spent best part of an hour being sent from pillar to post on the online chat. When finally got to chat to a human he couldnt get the system to ID me using my address and debit card details. Tried 3 times and each time system told him it had failed. Tried to phone them, could get through because I dont have an account no. (cos I dont have an account!). Phoned my bank who assured me that Vodaphone had just tried 3 times to ID me using my card details and were successful each time. If its that much trouble to even order a package - and impossible to actually speak to a human - I wouldnt touch this company with a bargepole.

    Terrible customer service! I can’t give any stars for the Broadland speed or reliability because I still don’t have the broadband set up after waiting for two weeks. I’ve had to call vodaphone many times and after lengthy conversations they still aren’t able to send an engineer out to set up my broadband.
