    ihave been with talktalk from2012.
    before was good.but this year they took extra money from my account than i call thim concel the old pekege and bout the new one but they charge me the same.than i concel my direct debet.they sent other bill by post.
    than i bought other pakege for18 months.
    for two monthes even i didnot used the enternet.
    i think taltalk is now the worest compeny.
    when this contrect finish i will conceil it .now they want the concelition pee more then £200.
    i will adwaise all people this is headach compeny they are theaves.

    Horrendous. Worst customer service I have EVER EVER experienced. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! You can phone up all the times you want, be on hold for hours, speak to no end of people, email, fill in their online chats, and you will STILL get NOWHERE!!!!! It has now been 11 months since i submitted a change of ownership on the account and still hasn't gone through, and it never will. Now after even more wasted hours I am trying to cancel and of course they still want to charge an extortionate fee. I am now liable for it all despite trying to change the ownership 11 months ago! They promise and promise to look into it and call you back, they never ever do. You can raise complaints and it will do nothing. AN EMBARRASSMENT OF A SERVICE!!!!

    The broadband is very unreliable.. I often work from home and it cuts off unexpectedly. Then I have to restart the wi-fi and wait for at least 15mins after the problem gets resolved. Over the last few weeks it did not work at all in some of the evenings. On top of that is not that cheap, I think I will look for other options.

    Speed and reliability is absolutely appalling. I have contacted customer services on several occasions and become increasingly frustrated with the way in which they try and fob me off with feasible excuses and tell me that I need to upgrade to fibre rather than to try and resolve my problem.

    Terrible inefficient and all agents give a different story. Do they actually make notes in their computers when we call.?
    I have phoned 9 different agents and still cannot get on my internet or landline.
    I am so disgusted by this service I am now putting in a complaint to the managing director if one exists and if no joy then to the ombudsman.
    I am looking to go with a different provider after I receive compensation from TalkTalk

    The worse broadband I’ve ever had in my life!!
    Paying a bill that doesn’t even work! I might aswell Just burn the money!! It’s an absolute joke and everytime I phone or chat to them they tell me it is working fine&there is nothing wrong with it. I’m sitting in my own house where the broadband is and I’m still using my own data! They have nothing to try and fix it “ because it’s working perfect “ aye right. It all started off if I was on my phone my partner couldn’t be on his phone. It only working on one phone at a time. You couldn’t watch videos or download anything now it just doesn’t work at all! I’ll be changing my broadband and I’ll be making sure to tell my family and friends to not as much as even think about getting use. Joke joke jokeee!

    We called them that we are moving house and they automatically renew the package for our new house for 18 months!What I don't get is why we still have to pay so much money to cancel? They don't listen and resolve the problem but instead they had the gut to call us and tell us to stop with the complaints! This crazy service !.D lol this must be embarrassing for u lot to hear. #ShouldBeAshamed

    I'm afraid there is only one word to describe this company... Pathetic!
    They seem incapable of understanding that any problems with their service is not their customers fault. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life and reliability is a joke.

    As consumers at the mercy of large retail companies it can be pretty hit and miss as regards the service we may stumble upon. I'm sure like yourselves we've all experienced bad service at one time or another, which is forgivable if the company resolves the issue and apologises. But please be WARNED Talk Talk has absolutely the worst ever customer service you will ever encounter. Pleasebe WARNED in all my years I have never experienced such appalling customer sevice from a company. They have outsourced their customer services abroad and some days you may be speaking to an agent from their Phillipines offices and another day their Indian offices. The Indian office has some pretty unhelpful staff that will call you back time and time again but not resolve any of the issues you have complained about. Definitely worth thinking about avoiding this company even if it means paying extra. Because in the long run if you lose your broadband and landline for over a week or more and get nowhere with your complaint, saving the few extra pounds a month isn't actually a saving.

    The customer service is just lip service. My mobile contract is still not up and running since I bought it months ago. I can't access my usage or any other data regarding my account so cannot transfer number or see data or phone usage , which I think is quite important to be able to do.. I have complained many times. Always same outcome, not handled. I don't use that phone contract now even though I have to pay for it. What a rubbish company.

    Really awful email service, it's down a lot so you can't even get in, it keeps logging you out and deleting or moving emails to the spam box is hit or miss as to whether it works.

    The worst internet provider i have ever come across in my life. Scam artists at their best. penalise customers who go over their 1 year plan by doubling the cost. they make leaving them the hardest process ever. theyll keep you on the line for 30min plus.

    The internet would simply stop working. Got to a point where i was using my mobile data 90% of the time i was home. slow when it did work. every time i did complain they would say 2 many devices in my household (i live alone).

    Please avoid this company. they do not care, they know about the issues and if you complain they just keep you on the line and lie. Dont give them your money. let them go out of business.

    I Regret going for this cheap deal, with worst internet connection, the speed is unimaginable slow if you connect you smart tv and any other device, I use to be with virgin which was most reliable service and best connection speed, but paid always to much all months.
    If at least the speed would be good I wouldnt mind, but all is crap with talktalk.

    I would not recommend using talk talk as an internet provider. I have spoken to customer services for 3 hours over the past 2 weeks - telling them my internet is NOT working especially on my mobile device. After a 'speed test' I've been told my speed is deemed as normal, despite not being able to receive whatsapp messages on my phone or being able to get the internet. I was then told I need to UNSCREW the box from my wall (despite being disabled with a bad back)...I then was told I would have to PAY for engineer to come out. This was after a whole 1 hour before. I had virgin media wifi before and never had this issue. Do not waste your time and money with this company.

    I have been with talktalk for well over a year and a half now,after reading all the terrible reviews on this I can't believe it,I'm on fibre medium and the call plan which allows you to call mobiles and land lines free for an hour but hang up before the hour and go again.my Internet has drop out about twice very late at night a can stream bbc iplayer etc... no problem and use my laptop and phone at the same time no problem, I was paying 33 pound for this but signed the new deal and now pay 30 which is a fixed price for 18 months no pay rises....a have a free sim card with 200 mins on it free but gave it to my mother who never gets near the limit every month but you can easily check via the app.yes the customer service is tricky with the over seas .communication but it's a free call anyway.I was with bt for 20 years but they kept rasin thier prices while given the deals to new customers which riled me as a was with them for so long.it can't just be me but talktalk are actually no bad at all,as a say this is my personal experience.

    I cancelled before my activation. Talk Talk had given me an Fibre install and activation date (circa 2 weeks from order) - they cancelled on me the night before and said they'd call again in 10 working days to confirm the revised install date. They blamed openreach (BT). So I called BT and asked if they would commit to an install date if bought their broadband instead. They did... and it was all up and running within the week. Easy. TT Customer service was OK during the cancellation but they couldn't seem to find my order number at first which meant confirming my details via other means. it was all just a bit of pain in the rear. Sorry Talk Talk. Pay peanuts, get monkeys

    I would highly recommend to anyone who is considering joining talk talk to consider their choice again. I have never known a network provider to be as bad as what I am experiencing with talk talk. It's a shame there is no option for zero stars on broadband performance speed and reliability. It has gotten that bad recently that I haven't even been able to post this review through wifi, as I have had to use 4G on my phone. When speaking to a member of the talk talk team about our issue their response was simply, 'Yes well you are trying to connect a device in a different room to where your modem router is so the walls that are in the way are the issue' Oh I'm sorry, does this mean in order to have successful broadband I need to live in a house with no walls, or have a router adapter in every room of the house?! Therefore they claimed the issue was an issue on our part not theirs (because we live in a house with walls and doors). I have never known this be an issue with any other broadband providers in the past. This is also the smallest house we have lived in, so I can only imagine what hell it would have been if we were customers of talk talk in one of our bigger houses.
    My advice to anyone would be to not get enticed in and persuaded to join by the 'wonderful' offers they can provide for you - the 'bargain' deals and 'great' packages, because yes they might be slightly cheaper than other providers, however what is the point in paying anything at all for a service as poor as what is provided.
    After many phone calls with talk talk we have been assured the problem should not be getting any worse, however I am struggling to believe that due to that fact I have been sat in front of my laptop waiting for the same one page to load for the last 30 minutes (at least). Whether we are going to stick out the remaining time of our contract, we have not yet decided, but I can confidently say we will not be making this same mistake again regarding our choice of broadband.
    I understand people may think this review is harsh, but with the level of frustration from the lack of quality received through talk talk, I had to share my opinion with others.

    I left Talk Talk after just 4 days, when they blocked my phone no. after trying to report a problem. Thereafter, they agreed to talk to me 'but not about the problem.' Since; six-weeks of threats and runaround, demands for amounts of money which they appear to have plucked out of the air and cannot substantiate when I ring them.
    They are obstructive and evasive, and, in at least ten contacts, including three letters to UK addresses, have not produced a final bill for the two-weeks before I moved to Sky, who, incidentally, have been excellent.

    I cannot tell you how bad this company is for taking people's money and avoiding any type of resolution. NOT EVEN THE ENGINEER KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING and failed to install my faster fibre despite being at my property for over 3 hours - USELESS!! . It took me hours to get my service cancelled (the day after supposed installation). I kept getting fobbed off that they could not cancel and said there was an deactivation fee!!!! Had it not been for my dogged determination to not give up and be fobbed off to different call centres around the world that I finally managed to speak to a manager who has promised my disconnection has been activated and no fees are due (I have yet to see this though). The level of customer service and helping customers is preposterous and I would say avoid at all costs. The endless calls and being passed from pillar to post and nobody seemingly able to help you, will just ruin your day. I have cancelled my disconnection with Virgin and will stick with them. Even though they are expensive i've never had one problem with them. Defo pay the extra for a happy sream-lined service - Please!

    This company has the worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. Things go wrong with services and bills quite often and the customer service staff have no authority to put them right. You spend hours on the phone trying to get problems escalated to a manager, which is not easy. They also basically treat their customers with contempt. They agree a price then three months later put up the price, so your contracted price isn't worth the paper its written on. They'll tell you its all in the Ts&Cs but they won't mention this on the phone when you sign up. This isn't quite fraudulent but its deceptive and definitely sharp practice. Even when everything is working, the speed is at best average and prone to intermittent short periods of interruption and if ever there is a genuine line fault you can forget having it fixed within 7 days. They'll argue its anyone's fault but there own and will never escalate it to an engineer until you can prove you have a PhD in telecomunications. My advice is don't go near this company.

    The WORST internet provider with the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
    They use hidden T&Cs wherever they can to get extra money out of you at the end of a fixed term contract, or to cancel an existing account. They are not transparent or open and will stop at nothing to push a cheap deal on you which will cost you 3 times as much 12 months later, without being clear about the change. I have had 2 accounts with them and both have had hidden charges.
    Ridiculously slow internet speed coupled with hidden costs and terrible customer service - 45 minute wait just to change an address.
    Will never use again.

    Coming up to 28 days now of poor internet speeds and losing connection, if you contact them to ask what’s going on all they do is run a line test every time. I got transferred around 3 different departments which every one of them then completed a ‘line test’ even tho each over one on the phone did it, then it’s always please allow 24-48hrs and ring us back !!!!! So over Christmas and new year my household have had no internet service which had been a struggle especially for my children Christmas Day. Utter shambles do not use them

    Shocking customer service have tried to ring on 3 separate occasions and have been on hold for over 30 minutes each time. I've booked 3 days of work for a fibre upgrade and no ones turned up and I can't speak to anyone to find out what's going on. Absolutely shocking there cheap for a reason will never use them again.

    TalkTalk aren't even worthy of the 1 stars that I have given them. Their broadband probably has to the worst I've had in a really long time. I mean, why bother carrying on this awful network if you aren't going to provide the up to speed internet that we have asked for? I would give them an overall scoring of -2 stars and that's me being generous. Just appalling. Terrible network all together.

    Trying to get issues resolved with customer services is a nightmare - they bounce you from department to department where you have to listen to same scripted speech in some vain attempt to beat you into submission to stop you from contacting and making a compliant - AVOID AVOID AVOID

    Might as well be a scam with how they operate. Called in nearly a week ago with a fault, assured that I would be put through with an emergency 24/48 hour appointment - lie number 1. Five days later ten minutes after they are due to arrive I recieved a phone call - apparently *I* have canecelled my appointment to go to hospital. No I haven't. Another call - no my engineer is going to hospital and no one is available and they don't know when someone will be - this was lie number 2; because when pushed further they found a new person in less than half an hour. Only the cocky, arrogant engineer - Wayne - they sent out, spent his time telling me how BT engineers are useless and call center agents are useless and that the fault is with the BT line - lie number 3. Because when BT come out we learn that the issue is with the router, a router that would have been in his van at the time. So now I have to wait a further 3+ days for them to send me one in the post because they "don't have anyone available" to come and put in a two minute job that *their* engineer should have fixed.

    Meanwhile I'm a vulnerable person, stuck in a home where not even my TV works without internet and am expected to just continue to sit here while they charge me for each phone call, not tp mention the extra phone data I have to buy! Almost £60!!

    Wish I could submit a 0 rating.

    Quite frankly the most unresponsive company I have ever dealt with. Both broadband an voice lines (small business) have been down repeatedly with the latest outage being approx. 2 weeks - how anyone can be expected to run a business with no telephone defeats me.

    Avoid like the plague!!

    Very poor service with unreliable internet that drops out and appalling customer service team. I've been without internet for 6 days and the sheer complacency of the support team is pathetic. With their first 4 responses being turn the router on and off, it wasn't until I demanded an engineer view the issue to identify the outside internet infrastructure is the issue. The problem should have been identified far sooner

    Do not touch this company, if i could put a zero for overall satisfaction then i would. They are a shambles! My mother has moved into a property and for some reason TalkTalk have blacklisted the address. No explanation is ever given when i or my mother try to talk to them. My mother has supplied them with information to prove who she is, as apparently she is pretending to be the previous owner! I have had numerous promises from this company and they have even apparently done credit checks against my mother so they would be able to see that shes not the previous owner. I'm surprised TalkTalk make money or even manage to keep going if this is how they treat their customers!

    Wish I could give 0 stars, awful awful company. Internet when working continuously drops in and out, you're lucky if it will work continuously for 3 hours. I have been without the internet for 8 days now and there engineers are just as useless as their support staff saying turn the router off and then on. Really couldn't discourage people off them more, they're cheap for a reason.

    I was a long time customer of talktalk, why? Price. That's the only good part of being with talktalk. Where to begin with the bad? Well, half a year in to my first contract, I had no internet signal whatsoever. I contacted talktalk, who said there was no issue, I must have set up the router wrong, when I questioned how it had been running fine for 6 months if I set it up fine, the agent started to state I was lying about the issue. Engineer was finally sent out 2 weeks after my 1st complaint, and it was found that the wire beyond my property boundary had been completely severed! So I most surely was not lying, which talktalk were trying to accuse me of doing.

    After this, I was offered compensation and an upgrade on my package for a 12 month period, which I accepted. When moving from the property to a property that had Virgin already installed, I called talktalk to inform them of the move and to enquire how much it would cost to finish the contract early, expecting to have a few months left. At this point I found out they'd actually put me on a 24 month contract as opposed to the 12 month upgrade! Which meant that it would be extortionate for me to leave early. I agreed to an engineer attending to remove the virgin equipment and install the talktalk equipment. When arranging I was informed that no one needed to be present at the property when the installation was taking place, I questioned this as there was a different type of connection altogether in place, 2 managers confirmed that I didn't need to be present.

    Fast forward a week after I moved property, I get a phonecall whilst at work from the engineer asking where I was, informed him of what I was told, he stated it was wrong, and that he'd have to come back, he told me to request a weekend appointment to fit around my work. I called talktalk to rearrange the visit, to be told I was being hit with a £70 missed appointment fee, which took 3 hours of arguing to expunge, I then attempted to book the new appointment on a weekend, to be told the engineers don't work weekends, and the accusations of the engineer lying started to fly! A few days of calling and arguing i caved and accepted a weekday appointment. Installation then went smoothly.

    The next bill arrived, with a £70 fee! More phonecalls, I had to demand an investigation, 2 weeks later I called to be told I was not allowed to know the outcome of the investigation that determined whether I needed to pay a £70 fee for being misinformed by 2 managers, so more arguing ensued. The fee was eventually refunded through means of me not paying a bill for a few months, and a little bit of compensation was given.

    An issue that had fallen to the sidelines was the fact that the TV connection was not working, I attempted to resolve this through the online chat, and was met with the same issue I had with the severed cable, 'sir, everything is fine on our end, you have installed the equipment wrong'. I gave up and haven't used the TV package for 14 months even though I pay extra for it.

    Fast forward to February of this year, my contract is coming up for renewal!!! Great! I can finally leave talktalk! I contact virgin, get a set up date, they contact talktalk to make them aware I'm leaving. A week before leaving, I get a bill, which is billed a month in advance??? I call talktalk, inform them that I'm leaving a day after the bill is taken, so is the amount correct considering I'm with them for 1 day of that billing month? Yes, £30 for one day is correct, I then had to explain multiple times to the agent that I was leaving, it finally sank in what I was saying, and I was informed that when the transfer was complete I would receive a revised bill and a refund.

    Fast forward to today, I've been gone from talktalk since the beginning of this month, and I've just received another bill!!! I contact talktalk to be told I have to pay the bill as my account hasn't been cancelled and it's all my fault for not contacting them 30 days before leaving as '30 day notice is required to leave any contract', I point out that I am no longer in a contract, I am no longer a customer and that I can't pay the bill as the direct debit is cancelled and that they should be paying me!!! 2 hours and still not resolved.

    Ofcom will be contacted!

    My advice, pay a little extra and go elsewhere, talktalk are a shocking company, if I had one bad experience I wouldn't think anything of it, but it's consistently been a nightmare!!!

    Awful service, worst internet we have ever had! Extremely slow, can't watch anything like Netflix because it is so slow and the connection drops a lot of the time! Phones customer service and tried to explain but they were not interested, just told us to unplug the box and plug it back in every time it goes down!!!! I'm sorry but we are paying for a good service and we are not getting that what so ever and how does unplugging it help with the speed?!?! Stuck with them for another 6 months, but as soon as that is up we are going somewhere else and never returning to them! I am also making sure that everyone I know and everyone they know, knows what an awful service they provide!!!
