    Horrible!

    I've been with TalkTalk for about 2 years which was a horrible experience. They charged me from my account as always without any problems, the next day after the internet wasn't working so I called TT customer service for about 6 times. They all were saying different things, leaving my confused. One man told me to unscrew the socket while i was on the phone to him! I strongly believed the socket had nothing to do with the issue as it was completely fine and it would not fix the problem.I refused to touch the socket and asked for service to come and what I heard is that it will be chargeable and only after Christmas! Im I paying for nothing? Ridiculous.I got really angry as this was not the first time I've been having issues with TT. This problem occured few times a year.TT now left me with no internet for Christmas time + taking money off my account for nothing.I canceled my account and now moved to a different broadband company. Never again TT!

    Hi all, This company cannot supply a broadband connection at all and when you try to ring them there closed so you will have no internet at all all night until the morning when they open. There rude on the phone and over talk you then threaten you if you cancel they will send bailiffs round to collect the full contract money. Please guys stay away from here it’s for you and your childrens best interest.

    I would not give any stara to talk talk as they are they worst broadband. I've had no Internet for past few days and have no connection. **** Internet. Would never recommend to anyone. They had turned my Internet off saying the are fixing the issue. So I am paying £28 monthly and most of the days get no Internet. Do not trust talk talk will be changing soon

    Words fail me but here goes. Awful. Terrible. Cant wait for the contract to end. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Over 2 weeks now without a phone line. Countless phonecalls consuming hours of mine and my wifes time.

    The customer support is awful! I've spent about 4 hours on the phone to them trying to sort the situations out, explaining the situation 50 times to different agents. When you explain them your situation, they say "Oh I understand, we're sorry" and then I have to repeat myself again as they simply DON'T listen to you. They're useless. They also tend to lie. Never go with talktalk.

    Awful awful people.
    I ordered talktalk mobile, decided not to use it (sim un-used still) but contract was established and so had to pay £12-£15 a month for unused mobile service. Even when I cancelled it, they still robbed me of money for 2-3 months saying I haven't cancelled it. Really awful management and organisation. As for their broadband.. its cheap but not that cheap, and certainly not cheerful.

    apsolutely appalling broadband connection(2miles from main server) customer service that lie and are just reading from a script (when you can understand the English they speak) and a even worse set of staff that work (or should we say protect) higher ranking from answering why the service they provide is rubbish. Don't bother contacting anyone in the CEO's Office you just get to talk to the monkey! Not the organ grinder TALK TALK SHOULD BE ANOLISHED FRON TRADING SUH A SHAM OF A BUSSINESS with more BAD REVIEWS than any orher BROADBAND PROBIDER THEY SIMPLY ARE THE WORST. BEWARE

    Appalling customer service..
    After waiting for 2 hours for a call back, they tried to blame my laptop rather than their router, though I could connect using a different network, or different router on same phone line.
    Was told he couldn't help, and to reset the router and call back if it didn't work.
    I said that wasn't good enough and he had to call me back, and after another hours wait he called back just to hang up on me after I said hello
    Now no response from talk talk at all.

    I would not recommend talk talk to anyone

    Worst company ever. Since having fibre 65 = VOIP fitted in March, nothing but problems, passed from pillar to post. Eventually in June told my service had been disconnected for 3 months.

    I’ve been with TalkTalk for 18 months and it had been the worst internet broadband I have ever had it’s slow, intermittent all the time it disconnects a few times a day.. I have had numerous phone calls with them.. with no help they just seem to palm you off to the next person and keep going over the same steps over and over.. and there all Indian which I can barely understand and they have rubbish phone lines to talk to them which makes it near impossible to understand them.. at the end of the day DO NOT go with talk talk no matter how sweet the deal is...

    Ive been with them for over ten years. Their broadband is a load s***te and I am writing whilst being held in que for 45min. Will take them to trading standards for deception and misrepresentation of product/service.

    Avoid at any cost! This is the worst provider ever! I was using TenTel before. But somehow, TalkTalk acquired Tentel and this is where my troubles started. Speed dropped down, most times the internet is not there. During Xmas and New Year my family was simply left without internet connection. Every time I call, they apologise, but they cannot help you. Just keep switching between departments.. useless... I am trying to get this contract terminated without any charges, but do not seem to get anywhere

    What can I say about talk talk today. Just stay away and keep away.
    My problem with the company started today at 11.43 am and has finished at 16.26 pm.
    I have been refused information on my own account, I have asked for a complaint team and was told that this company doesn't have one ! I have been told I was being put through to the complaint team on two occassions then left on hold - (the complaint team which does not exist as the company stated they don't have one) I have had the phone put down on me twice, then at last at 16.07 pm been told that the £5.00 discount I have been given today is the company's final decision even though I have lost a days work trying to sort the account out.
    The reason for my call in the first place this morning ? to enquire why this company had billed me for more money than was agreed on 05.03.2014 when they had confirmed a discount on my bill. Oh yes they suspended the account so no calls or internet could be used despite them trying to bill me for more than was due.
    So all in all as you would gather, I am calling BT tomorrow to please ask them to take all my property accounts !!

    No stars at all - everyone else already said what I have experienced. Customer "advisors" need get speech to text translators so they can understand what we are saying. Telecommunication systems are not the same across the world! I was refused a third party to help me with communications. REFUSED! Just cos I was not in same location as my support - where are youse all then?? I have EXCELLENT router, originally supplied by Tiscali in 2009, so effectively it belongs to TT (they bought out Tiscali!!) - Tiscali router proved to be brilliant quality hence internet been better than many from the look of others reviews. Selling cheap tacky plastic with bits of wire "connections" - products that will NOT improve connections / increase speeds. Mine supplied by TT failed after 2 weeks and they blamed Openreach when it was their bits of plastic stuck together and no replacement router?? You will never get more than 1.2 down / 0.7 up - look at research carried out by official independents. Minimum guarantee of 7Mbps is blatantly FALSE. I am so done with them. Worse than leeches.

    I was told to register with talk talk mail plus as after the 30th, I would lose my e mails, so after numerous chat agents(where in the world) I managed to get registered as I thought, not being told that I had to have a different e mail and password, I eventually got registered and a direct debit set up, so I thought. On the third day after promises from other agents that I could access my account and register my wife's e mail, and after 3 more agents who didn't know what they were doing, I was told that I was not registered with talk talk plus! Unbelievable after having an account no. And a direct debit set up. I have never dealt with any company as bad as this lot, who just don't know what they are doing, so I think I will go to someone who does. Good luck anybody trying to get registered with talk talk!

    I'm refusing to give ANY stars as they don't deserve any!
    Was only a customer for about 4 months, in that time I think it only worked for 2 weeks, internet would go off every 15 minutes, if you out a load on the router (I.e watching an internet TV channel or try downloading anything) counter light would turn solid red. I canceled for no service and took my complaint to the ombudsman, to my astonishment they won the case (wtf?) They won due to the fact they were fair (really?) I didn't complain enough about my lack of broadband at the begining, I didn't read the terms and conditions about them not promising a fault free service, also I sighted I wanted to leave as I had a price increase in my first month, I was told I wasn't on a fixed tariff so they had every right (they might want to check their advertising) AVOID this company, I've regretted it ever since, I paid all my bills in full until leaving even though I had NO service and now I have to pay a further £368 (they are knocking a bit of money off as a goodwill gesture) I've suffered sleepless nights over this it's not worth the stress. I'm back with sky now for all my services and they all work perfectly. I'll have some Champagne on ice for when this company goes into administration.

    If you are thinking of Talk Talk broadband go to a different supplier, download speed of 267mb max and upload speed of 0.76mb. Constantly dropping out and internet unavailable waiting for connection to send this. Overall a very poor and disappointing broadband. Today looking for a new provider

    The worst provider going. Shocking broadband, that's when it did work. I had incoming calls only. I rang customer services, all I wanted was my phone number, I got hung up on 3 times. When called back weeks later they had no record of my calls. Finally got fed up with talk talk and changed to sky. I called talk talk to end my contract (I was already out of contract period). They continued to send me bills. I called again to sort this, they said they had no record of my call cancelling my subscription so I had no choice but to pay. I haven't paid and will not pay! I said I will prove I called them and send a copy of my phone bill with the calls listed on there. This still is not good enough for them and they still expect me to pay for a service I have not been receiving. Shocking rudeness from their staff and also managers. Shocking broadband! PLEASE DO NOT USE TALK TALK!!

    numerous online chat where the engineers have no phone, just get cut off. i have recorded 18 such conversations

    The worst customer service I have ever encountered. Talk talk have admitted to me that they have made a mistake in charging me further admin fees, however they still require the fee. When communicating in on line chat,they take for ever to reply,crib board training. Do not use talk talk, they make it intentionally difficult to contact them , they will not provide any email to make complaints.stay away. Terrible company

    Worst broadband I have ever had. Signal drops constantly, all devices get disconnected because 'no Internet access' is available! No one should go with talk talk! They will fob you off on the phone tell you turn your router off on and on! Basically wasting your money! Might as well burn it then line Talk talks pockets! Can't wait to switch over!

    Absolutely terrible company stay away! I moved homes and notified talktalk 2 weeks in advance, date was booked for engineer to arrive but no show. I wasted a whole day. Date was rebooked by a very rude Samantha from South Africa but she lied and didn't rebook so no one turned up again. It left us without services for a week and no apology or valid form of compensation was made. Their centres are in the Philippines and South Africa who all lie!! Stay clear!!

    They are the worst ever poor service rude horrible customer service iv had a dope tell me she doesn't understand my language English also connection is poo so asked for fibre optic told me as an existing customer I have to have a direct debit not also just that I have to make 3 months worth of direct debit payments first but can sign up tomorrow as a new customer for fibre optic so make you feel not a valued customer all my bills are paid by phone on time the reason I don't want direct debit is they take advance payments and bill you £10 pound late not including bank charges u incur also imagine you owe me money we agree you pay Friday I come nokin on a wensday for it then bill u more there a joke

    before was good.but this year they took extra money from my account than i call thim concel the old pekege and bout the new one but they charge me the same.than i concel my direct debet.they sent other bill by post.
    than i bought other pakege for18 months.
    for two monthes even i didnot used the enternet.
    i think taltalk is now the worest compeny.
    when this contrect finish i will conceil it .now they want the concelition pee more then £200.
    i will adwaise all people this is headach compeny they are theaves.

    Talk Talk are an absolute disgrace, wish I read these reviews before signing up! The worst customer service I have ever encountered, spent 1 hour and 40 minutes on the phone speaking to agents who have absolutely no clue, are ridiculously rude and extremely unhelpful. I got so infuriated that I had to hang up the call therefore the issue is still unresolved. round 2 tonight...joy!

    I wish I visited this site before signing up for a broadband with them. Pretty much everything described here happened to me! Will be fighting for feeless cancellation tho as they haven't provided me with the service promised so by the law I'm entitled to free cancellation even after the period of 20 days. I'd advise all the rest of you do the same. If it's many of us, they will have to do the right thing

    Talktalk is the worst broadband i dont recomend them to anyone, they dont tell you when your contract is up and they put the charges up we started off paying 17 pound then ended up paying £30+ we tried to cancel twice and they tried to stop that from happening by saying both times we have to wait 30 days to cancel (60 altogether)

    I give no stars for anything, for all the money they must spend on advertising the product does not relate to what they promise. It is unbearably slow, constantly looses connection. I paid for the upgrade but as soon as we connect a 2nd device everything will start to crash. In every way talk talk is rubbish, I was fooled into thinking they would be a good provider

    I've called more than 15 times. Everytime no one seems to know the problem. I've been told it has been escalated and that I'll be called but I end up having to call. Turns out my phone number was accidentally lost on porting..they didn't figure that out, I had to tell them. I then get told I need to buy a handset to find out my new number!! Still not fixed. 3wks and counting.

    I left Talk Talk after just 4 days, when they blocked my phone number after trying to report a problem. Thereafter, they agreed to talk to me 'but not about the problem.' Since; six-weeks of threats and runaround, demands for amounts of money they appear to have plucked out of the air and cannot substantiate when I ring them.
    They are obstructive and evasive, and, in at least ten contacts, include three letters to UK addresses, have not produced a final bill for the two-weeks before I moved to Sky, who, incidentally, have been excellent.

    Wow just wow to how bad talk talk really is if you want to watch movies do not use if you want to go online do not use I have never had a provider with such a ridiculously slow internet speed you ring to ask them to deal with the situation they just fob you off they actually sent an engineer out twice after I stopped my direct debit he ( no word of a lie ) walked in turned the box off turned it back on looked at it said mmmmmm a lot walked away got to the door and said nothing I can do mate il escalate the problem that was 3 months ago worst customer service in the world. Trust me pay the extra money and get a decent provider
