    ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! broadband installed, never worked, was told need to pay £65 for an engineer to fix what he broke, tried to cancel on numerous occasions was told to pay over £200 for a service that was never used or even working still to this day after countless phone calls and being on hold for over 30 minutes to talk talks useless customer service team the services are still not cancelled and now they are asking for even more money..... What a joke of a company!!!! i really hope the ceo of talk talk reads this!!!!!!

    I literally could not rate this lot any lower. If I could leave no stars, I would. I’ve been trying to cancel with them for MONTHS. I lost my husband and was moving back in with family, hence no longer requiring internet. I’ve been out of contract for months so it shouldn’t have been an issue. They made me pay £97 to close the account, then told me they would only cancel it once I found someone else to “take over”. They’ve charged me almost £300 since cancelling for no reason (my monthly will was only £37). I don’t even have the router anymore, constantly send threatening messages to me and when I try to call, they pass me between on average 3-5 people for 2-3 hours at a times. They also told me my husband dying “wasn’t my problem” and that “they’d be checking to see if I’m lying”.

    Please just don’t use them. They’re set up like some sort of fraudulent bullying scheme that takes your money and won’t let you leave.

    customer service is the most amateur shambolic time wasting experience I've ever come across, utter contempt for the customer experience, if ever you have a problem, think carefully before you book days of work, they don't turn up, they don't care.

    Worst company by far wish i never went with these i had broadband installed 2 weeks ago and iv never had any sort of internet after wot seems like 400 phone calls hours at a time the issue has never been solved even tough they have promised time and time again! The robbing fxxxxxx even had the cheek to bill me for a service iv never had! Want to leave but they are tellin me theres a early leaving fee

    Worse customers service ever. Had no internet. No phone line. No tv. When the tv did work we didn't get the channels we asked for. Asking for money back for service we havnt had. People have hung up on me put the phone picked up put phone down. Said they would ring back on a number of occasions but never did

    This is the worst broadband ever the connection is absolutely awful and the speed is so slow. Just loading up this page the interenet nearly crashed. If your going to buy a broadband talk talk is a very bad choice

    An absolute farce!
    Slow to install. Even slower to cancel as they can continue to charge you all the same. I have left to go to a different country, my 12 month contract was continued with me knowing. I am not allowed to access my online account from abroad. I phone up to cancel and am assure dit is to find 3 weeks later they have not, meaning I am charged another 2 months.Have spent over an hour on hold as they refuse to phone back.It is a farce.

    Put your hand in your pockets,wallets,purses whatever is holding your money and grab a handful of cash and just throw it out the window because with TALKTALK this is all your doing anyway.Why is such a large company allowed to LIE CHEAT AND STEAL from normal everyday hard working people ? Every product from this company is a pile of crap and every aspect of the company is a pile of crap yet they are allowed to rip us off indiscriminately.

    Changed to Talk Talk from Tesco. Firstly, they never sent the modem and CD package before the activation date.(still haven't got it) Lucky I have my own modem. Don't know what my E-mail address is because of this. The speed has never been so low. OK, so my village has always been a bit of a problem area for broadband but was enjoying 1mb speed for about a year. Talk Talk speed was only around 0.2mb. When I phoned customer "service", they told me there was a 14 day stabilization period where their engineers are still fiddling with settings and stuff, which they never stated when I signed up. Every other provider has given full speed immediately. Customer Service is less than absoloute crap! On hold for ages, speaking to a different nationality every time, got hung up on, trying to tell me their modem is better than mine, bad attitudes and apathy is all you will ever receive from this bunch of lying, timewasting, stress making idiots. Talk Talk? More like ALL TALK!!! Stay far far far away!

    Tried to give less than one star but not allowed.
    Anyway very slow broadband, people should stay away. They are vey keen to sneak 24 months contract auto-renew without you aware this. So stay as far as you can.

    Without a shadow of a doubt the WORST company I've ever dealt with. Totally and utterly incompetent from start to finish,(Hopefully it's nearly over) Shambolic and unprofessional. How they're still in business is beyond me. The level of stress they've caused me has been immense, all due to THEIR ineptness. I can't rate them in any positive way at all.

    been with talk talk for 3 month that is the big error i never down. first month they charge me 31.28£ my contract was 17.70£. i did know i did need to pay 5.00£ for the postage. i should have pay 22.70£. but they say they start the billing from the 8 of every month. but never spoke about it before. Second bill 27.00£ they charge me 10.00£ because i was late to pay the first bill. did need to call and email them so many times to try to correct everything. Think i really don't understand is : i did a direct debit with them when i sign, why they didn't take first payment?
    when i ask the question to talk talk they answer i didn't give them the correct number . That is very strange like they did a credit check? after many email they credit me 25.00£. That it? Talk talk make some money in the back of people who can pay better broadband . All the stress they give me didn't help my illness. think before you sign with them is better to pay a little bit more and have a better customer service. I have 9 more month with talk talk how many error are they going to do. They lost all my trust . Satisfaction big 0 customer service -20

    I’ve never complained in my life. BUT I’m utterly shocked at this “service” been with talk talk for 6 weeks. Not had a single day of internet. I’ve had 2 engineers out who left not fixing the problem. I have been on the phone to them for literally 8.5 hours repeating the exact problem to different agents. I’ve been assigned a “dedicated agent to fix the issue” told to wait another 72 hours... call them back and they closed my case saying it’s fixed. Mean while they are still taking my money and haven’t refunded me or fixed the issue.

    Just received my April invoice from Talk Talk with £65.00 added to it for an Engineer who came out to fix the first line filter in my house. This is a BT part and land line!
    Why am I charged to fix someone else's equipment.
    This is because Talk Talk no responablity for ANYTHING inside the customers property regardless of who it belongs to. Contractually then, how can they support their contract to supply the customer with the service for which the customer is paying? This is day
    Ishtar robbery as the terms and conditions were not clear when agreeing to have the Engineer sent out.
    Talk Talk do them selves no favours for their own reputation
    I would advise customers to seek better deals from other service provider service that support their system at no cost to the customers. I am now receiving threats of black listing, extra costs if I cancel my direct debit etc etc.

    I have never negatively reviewed any service historically, however, with TalkTalk I'm more than happy to make an exception. TalkTalk are the most ludicrously poor service ever to come into existence since the dawn of time. I was enticed by their £18.95 per month broadband deal and decided to switch from Sky. They promised me a new landline number but failed to do this and I tried to resolve the issue with customer services and each person I spoke to told me I needed another department. I was passed on to another call centre worker a total of five times and finally placed on hold for a period of - well - indefinitely. I hung up and tried again. I finally managed to speak with someone who told me I had to cancel my subscription and sign up again before they could give me a new number.

    This took fifty minutes (on a prime charge number) due to language barriers, and I turned into Basil Fawlty - "please try to understand me before one us dies!". I then looked at TalkTalk reviews and came across this page and read through the reviews which mirrored my experience with them. Because I decided to cancel the day after taking out the contract I was not charged, but it was a chore cancelling as I was put on hold several times and spoke with a very rude operator who told me "I can reduce £2 off your monthly bill if you stay with us". I said "no thank you just cancel it please". He said "so you went to all that hassle of sorting out the contract and you want to cancel!!".

    Take heed - do not, I repeat, do not entertain TalkTalk. It was akin to being taken hostage by a troop of demented baboons, and you wonder if you will ever be released. I decided to stay with Sky who knocked a tenner off my monthly sub fee. Thank you Sky!

    Shocking been a customer for a year with non stop problems,they randomly turned off everything today and told me I need to set it all up again and wait for an activation code AGAIN because something isn't right on the line WITHOUT notice when everything finally worked 3 weeks ago after 6 months of being in a new property. i have put in several complaints over the past 12 months and they never get sorted. Some of the staff are incredibly rude and most don't understand English the internet speed is shocking. The management then told me I will get reenbursed for the last 6 months to then be told 3 hours later that they will only do it if I stay with them!!! Horrendous company quick enough to take your money for a service you don't receive

    Worst broadband ever. Moronic customer service and rediculously slow speeds.

    It takes months (litirally months) to get anything sorted and then they stll manage to get it wrong.

    But the worst thing was being lied to about which package I was entitled to and then finding out I couldn't be provided with it after all. I hate talk talk and hope they go out of business.

    Worst company I have ever dealt with! I'm 8 months pregnant with no landline because talk talk are that incompetent they don't feel they have to provide a service even though u pay them! It's been one thing after another with them and that's if u can get through to them without them dropping the call. They are in no which way uk based so even when your emotional and in need of information you just get read out the scripts in front of them WHICH they read out 50 times before they actually do what they are saying! They have put a mark on my credit rating even though I've paid on time every month and haven't received a service for over 4 month. I've been trying for over a month to move my services to my new address but can't as firstly there was technical difficulties and now my order has been rejected!!!! A manager will ring me in a WEEKS time to explain why!!! I've just paid my bill yesterday. So turns out it was rejected because they forgot to ask me some information...so instead of ringing me n clearing it up straight away they cancel my order and then can't book me an engineer for the day I already had booked I have to wait a further 10 days for that....meaning that in the duration of my contract with talk talk I have received services for 5 month out of 12. Will not be letting this drop. I will take my matter as far as I can and I urge everyone else to do the same. This company is the biggest joke going....must be shut down I'd day

    Can I rate broadband reliability -10, because the internet is very very very bad and slow services I never have it like that before. I can't wait to finish a contact and never go with talk talk company again. I feel very annoying every time with disconnected internet. At least more than 50 times with disconnected services. The company should close down and they dont get anymore money from customers.

    They've been taking ever increasing amounts of money from me and not provided me with a service for months. Thanks to them I've lost out on so much work I'm facing homelessness. They refuse to stop charging me after my contact expires and want to charge me more to cancel after it expires. No advice for months yet they pretend that it's all working.

    Yet again TalkTalk E Mail service and Talk Talk pages out of action. usual our engineers are busy trying to fix the problem! This is occurring that often that I have lost count of then occasions I have complained to them. Last time after almost a week of no service phone and net I got a whole £15 compensation. Been a customer for many years but the service just gets worse. Going to have to change now can't go on like this. Don't even consider giving up your present service provider to transfer to them, you will regret it. I would not even give them one star on any counts, but one popped up on reliability and I could not take it off.

    Absolutely appalling. No problems with them for the first 3 months. Then moved home, it took two weeks for my line to go live, to which neither my phone or broadband was working at all. I called them 7 times and they kept telling me there was nothing wrong with it. I was then told to get a screw driver and take my plug socket out of the wall and mess about with the electrics. Being heavily pregnant and having no idea about electrics I refused this and asked to speak to head office. As surely that's a danger to ask customers to do that. I was told there is no head office and the man was very rude to me on the phone. Extremely unhelpful. Appalling service.

    quite simple really, moved out of an address in Devizes to an new address where talk talk who I had for 2 years with no concerns, on 30112018, paid the owed amount and was told that as no further service could be provided they would waive my close down charges, since then have been e mailed threats of none payment, charges occurring etc, tried chatline, talking to robots e mails, no avail

    I'd suggest anyone who wants broadband and a decent service to stay away you will get nothing but brickwalls in your way, I am still fighting with talktalk for compensation which for those who don't know majority of broadband services offered these company have signed up for a AUTOMATIC COMPENSATION SCHEME which means if you are receiving less or no broadband speed that you sifned up for your entitled to £8per day, TALKTALK won't tell you this, you ask TALKTALK for compensation they change the conversation, TALKTALK advisors are overseas and this is just another hurdle trying to get information, with regards to INFORMATION you will get told one thing and then ve told another from someobe else. All in all I've now had to request a DEADLOCK LETTER, MY COMPLAINT TO BE FORWARDED TO THE CEO, I also need to wait 4 more weeks to open a complaint to a independent company cifas or someone like this as I DINT TRUST TALKTALK, and feel its the only way to get closure, BEWARE STAY AWAY, it's still on going as I write this, the complaint was opened 24/7/2019, problem still not rectified, I am drained, I have No energy now and this is probably there tactics, I've also found out you can ask or request to speak a ENGLISH ADVISOR, IN ENGLAND and I suggest do it, but first things first just DONT SIGN UP, SIMPLE you only get what you pay for.

    Incompetent, Con Artist and Liars! I signed up with TalkTalk only because they had an £80 Amazon voucher offer at the time. Fast forward 6 month no voucher so called up. They apologised for the error and said it would be sent and with me within the month. Fast forward 6 weeks...no voucher. Called up again to raise a complaint this time, I state I want to raise a complaint on 3/4 occasions clearly and it is ignored. I get told first to email them about it then after I say this cannot be right since I didn't have to do this last time, they then say actually I have to go back to the comparison site and collect information for them to prove I was owed it. When I then ask if they had actually read the notes from my previous call where TalkTalk already checked and said it was their fault the call handler then does this and suggests a different email address. When I ask to speak to a Manager at this point as still no complaint has been raised and clearly I am getting the wrong information. I am put on hold...no manager available. Finally the call handler raises a complaint and says I ill be called back by a manager in the next three days to discuss...the call ends. I get a call back 5 min later from the same person saying they are actually going to transfer me to the complaints department to get a resolution today and then put me on hold for nearly 20 min before I can hear I have ben transferred through to a department as I can hear them but despite talking etc to get somebody to respond after 5 min nothing so I hang up so now have to go through the whole thing again with a new incompetent person at an incompetent company just to get something that I should have had automatically issued to me months ago.

    I just can't believe TALK TALK can run a business
    they way they do. I sold my house and i contacted all
    my utility bills company, no problem at all till i got to
    bloody TALK TALK, has been a absolutely nightmare
    they are just refusing to disconnect me, ignoring everything i say. I'm thinking in get a lawyer to
    deal with them because i don't know what to do any
    more. I sincerely hope they go bankrupt very soon i

    I consider talk talk as the worst service provider, that is my opinion, because of my experience with them years back.I place order for their broadband and i was given the installation date before then ,they'v sent my the router only for them to refuse to come to install it and ask me to do it, i said to them that ,that is not our agreement and more so, i don't know anything about them installation; even with that the didn't come only for them to start sending me billy ,i called on their attention but keep send bill for the service that never be or never install with that ,i cant even recommend to my enemy. as the name implies ,they are really talk talk.till date they are still expecting to pay for the service the never render.

    Internet does not work at all and Netflix was not working from the very start, saying there is no Internet connection. We have only been with talktalk for a few days but to cancel we have to pay the full price for the whole year.

    These reviews of TalkTalk are confirmed when I phoned them to cancel order. 2 phone calls 30min. Order not cancelled, saying credit dept need to contact me. They would not take a message. I managed to persuade them to phone me 0800-1700 15th Aug 2017.
    Credit dept have no need to contact me.

    For the sake of your sanity do not speak to Talk Talk! I made that mistake in order to discuss prices because my current contract with another provider is soon coming to an end so I wanted to shop around before making a decision whether to stay with them or not. The sales guy I spoke to seemed very knowledgeable and although I told him three times that I was just making enquiries at that stage I stupidly allowed him to agree an engineers date with me on 2nd March which gave me plenty of time to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period shoukd I not wish to proceed. Big mistake! Next day I'm receiving emails from Talk Talk saying that an additional engineers visit to fit fibre had been arranged for 2nd February,well before my current contract expires! In the first instance I contacted my current supplier to discuss ongoing cost with them should I wish to stay with then only to be told that my contract with them was in cancellation mode notified by Talk Talk and that, as such, they were unable to give me prices until the cancellation order had been retracted by TT. I hope you're keeping up! I was on the phone to TT 45 minutes on Saturday trying to get this sorted and eventually agreed that a manager would call me within 24-48 hours. Not surprisingly this did not happen so I had to call again and was eventually put through to a manager (I've lost count by this time how many times I've had to explain the situation) who seemed not the slightest concerned about my experience but did, in the end, give me a cancellation number. I have since received an email confirming this cancellation but also explaining that a hub is already on its way and that I should return it so I'm looking forward to that!
    Unfortunately, however, that's not the end of it. I gave myself a couple of days to recover and then, this morning, phone my current provider to discuss ongoing costs only to be told that my account is still in cancellation mode with them and I have to wait three days before contacting them again. Thank you very much Talk Talk - I can ŵell do without spending the time it's taken to write this but I feel all you good people out there should be warned!

    THE WORST COMPANY.... BE WARNED!!!!
    I have had my order cancelled 3 times and just not processed for no reason. I have now spent 5 weeks without the internet despite being promised 3 times that the problem was resolved and the internet would be installed. Terrible customer service! I have spent hours on the phone trying to resolve the issues to just be wait three weeks each time and then just as it's meant to be installed it is cancelled and the process has to be started again. Do not go near this company!

    before the engineer came to my house we alresdy started having problems. We decided to chose fibre large option so we've paid for it - a high price. They sent us a router and arranged for the engineer to come. when the router arrived we discovered that it is a standard one instead of a fibre one. (The fibre router has a red socket with WAN written above, and the model should be DSL minimum - TalkTalk has VDSL, ADSL is for standard broadband NOT for Fibre). We spent over one hour having a conversation with their helpline that was going nowhere. The ngineer came and installed us a normal standard broadband in less than 10 min. which we paid for £50. after another 2 hours of the conversation with their service helpline their offered to resend a new router and rearange a new engineer appointment. After forceing them to give us the details of the new router it turned out that they would send us the same model that we already have!!!! Also the conversation with the manager didn't get anywhere neither. We didn't finish our battle with them. Stay away from this company.

    Where do I even start, I was told by a talk talk worker that my internet speed would be almost double the speed of my old Internet providers... Biggest lie I've ever heard! False advertisement... My speed is almost 100 times slower than my last providers hitting a grand total of 0.03 Mbps. Faster using data than this rubbish they call Internet, for everyone out there reading this DO NOT GO WITH THIS DREADFUL NETWORK.

    On 8/9/17 I 'upgraded' to faster broadband with TalkTalk (56 to 75 mbps)
    the speeds I get are now around 20/24 mbps - all TalkTalk do is to get me to check router/cables etc (I've done this seven times now) they say if I want an engineer to fix this I will have to pay £65!!! THEY are in breach of contract yet I have to pay for them to give me the speeds I have been paying for since September 8th!!!

    Been having issues installing my wifi hub. Tried chatting with several staff on it but they keep tossing me about, then just go off the chat. Sent a mail as well but no resolution. But immediately I cancelled my direct debit, boom, they sent me a mail. How can I pay for a service I have not been able to use?

    Absolute garbage speed, service and value, steer clear of talk talk they are a nightmare.
