    DO NOT USE TALKTALK! Absolutely terrible from the start. Complained as soon as I joined talktalk about my broadband connection and speed, they told me I need to wait 4 weeks for it to work properly, by this point the 28 day cancellation period was over so I got stuck with the same poor connection about 8/9 months now. Customer service is terrible and I can’t understand what is being said as no one is English. Anyway they told me I had an old box so sent me a new one, by that time I had no internet at all. My NEW box doesn’t work, they told me I needed an engineer which would take about a week. They called me once to arrange this and have made effort to contact me again. Still without internet, it’s been 4 days now. Talktalk don’t care as long as they are taking my money. I tried to get out my contract as I haven’t ever received the service I was sold, told me I’d have to pay £235. Absolute joke! Still no help from talktalk.... and still no internet.....

    Unbelievably atrocious.

    Statements like, "void the contract and delete my details," and, "I am no longer a customer of talktalk," are apparently not clear enough to qualify as cancellation.
    But they won't tell you this, they'll wait two years, sell off a "debt" to collection agents, and claim they have no evidence of your statements..because they deleted the correspondence, the complaint and the accompanying message chain.
    Never have I been so glad to be a hoarder of correspondence.

    I'll shortly be taking talktalk to court.

    Do not ever enter in to a contract with talktalk, they will not provide what they promise, they will obfuscate and outright lie, and they will ignore your requests to cancel.

    Never has a company been so deserving of a negatively starred review.

    The upmost worst provider ever rude ignorant cs staff. Complain at your peril and youll suffer constant speed drop im down to 2.8 at moment started at 15 everytime i complained my speeds dropped maybe its a coincidence. No one listens to you and they still charge you for all your packages even though you cant use them due to unreliable poor broadband

    Terrible. It just took 6 minutes to download an 11 minute kids show, which then stalled three times during viewing. Their response is not helpful. Feel as though I've been cheated.

    I've only ever used Talk Talk. There have been times when I've called customer service and been given excellent service. Two people were very patient with me on 2 occasions when I had a problem. Then in Nov 2014, things went downhill. I was pushed into having the TV package, even though I made it very clear I didn't want it. I was sent a set top box I didn't want, sent it back and then spent ages being pressed for it's return. Then I was charged for not sending it back.
    Quite often, I have great difficulty understanding the person's accent. My hearing isn't 100%. So I decided to change provider. I read reviews for all the main ones and decided there was no point changing!
    I then rang Talk Talk to tell them I wanted to renew my contract afterall. They had to put me through to another dept., About 30 min later I finally got through. The line was so bad I had no idea what the woman was saying and had to end the call. I'd been on the phone 3/4 hour.
    I'll probably stay with them on the basis of " better the devil you know".

    I have wasted hours of my life trying to get my broadband reistated. Ive been told one thing and then been passed to someone else and told something else. Nobody cares, their English is awful, I have received zero customer service. I will never use talktalk again.

    Moved to talk talk recently from virgin based solely on price.
    Speed is terribly slow and constantly dropping out altogether.
    Took a day off work loosing a days pay to be in for the engineer (with the threat from talk talk of £55 charge if not home) only to be told at 13.15pm after calling to ask where the engineer was to be told he'd been cancelled by talk talk.
    So one month into the contract I would advise anyone else to stay well clear. Terrible speed, signal dropping out altogether, useless customer service (foreign) , and liars costing me a days pay.

    Disgusted and appalled with this company ! Got talked into upgrade to fibre after upteen faults , openreach engineer turned up to install.
    When he left I noticed my card reader was not working in my shop , (the master socket for broadband and phone is in the staffroom )the engineer had called the cable to the card reader in the shop thus unabeling us to except card payments ...
    Talktalk after numerous noncence phone calls just asking for an engineer to come out and fix what he broke ?? Your answer was .. and I quote ... " THATS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN " with a smug attitude !! Wtf
    If I can't take card payments without embarrassingly asking customers into the staffroom as opposed too the till ( in the shop ) err talk talk err business ? .. think I will be seeking action .. loss of earnings etc....

    Never have I ever come across such appalling customer service in my life. I am over 70 and feel due to my age Talk Talk took advantage of this. If my daughter and son-in-law had not stepped in they were trying to bill me £186 when I was no longer with them and had not received any service from them for some time. An absolute disgrace

    I use TALK TALK one year. Customer service is very bad because always don't help me. I need good broadband only for ps4 just for one game and I never have good quality from this place. I'm not happy when I think about time when I spend my many and I never want back to TALK TALK in my live. NEVER !!!

    Tolley usless limited broadband servive keep getting yellow triangle on laptop stating limited broadband. Have to put in wireless number into smart tv as it keep losing conection contacted talktalk told give the 28 day to fix if no fix can cancel contract free of charged
    Want and see. Can't want to get rid of talktalk

    NEVER, EVER, USE THIS COMPANY!!! Bill is supposed to be £29 per month, paid bill yesterday only for service not to be restored, only to be told they were charging another £15 for late payment on last months bill. THIS HAPPENS EVERY MONTH!!! In the end was forced to pay £44 for SLOW, USELESS broadband. Was told had to speak to manager, then after 10 minutes on hold was told there were no managers, put on hold again FOR 35 MINUTES, only for call to be cut. Am being charged for paper billing yet have not seen a bill in TWO YEARS, customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. A few months ago was told had to pay £43 for 3 days service between when the old contract lapsed and the new one began, despite never being told about it. Avoid this company at all costs, total rip off merchants.

    TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If a Talk Talk operator does not know what to do with you, they will just transfer you to another operator! What happened was I changed the date of installation to another date. Then found out that they cancelled this appointment with no apparent reason and I had to be put back in queue again. When I complained, I was put through from one operator to another (7 in total) resulting in a 1hr22 mins call to resolve my problem. When I called back 3 days before my installation date, the operator could not find my account details, despite me giving him my account number and my address, I was put through to another dept until finally I I had enough and asked to make a formal complaint and was put through to their customer loyalty dept. and CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT. I presumed it was done but then found that they took one month payment from my bank account! DO NOT GO FOR TALK TALK BECAUSE IT IS CHEAP BECAUSE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY!

    False advertising rude slow internet keep adding more money for thing as such as engeneer sent out and advised me that I would be payin for it there for it down to cou but there not good either ring 4 to 5 time a day leavong messages and no respons back reqly upset with them it not worth our my and stress so plz dont be fooled to go with them

    I recently moved and found what I thought is a good deal from talktalk. I finally got everything set up and was told my line would go active on a certain date...which it never did. For just over a week I was waiting for my line to become 'active' but it never did. Being 9 months pregnant, living on my own and having poor cellphone service in the area, I needed it to work. I ended up cancelling the contract which wasn't made easy either by the rude staff and me having to repeat what I said SEVERAL times as i kept being transfered around...I am sure I spent a total of 4 hours to them. I am finally free from them and with a better provider but talktalk still owes me money!!! I don't see the point in paying for something I am not getting...I fulfilled my end of the contract but they didn't play their part. If i could give less than 1 star I definitely would. Good riddance!!!!!

    I am appalled at their customer service, I have never experienced such a shameful, frustrating and absolutely useless customer experience in my life, I actually can't believe they are allowed to operate like this, hours of frustrating repetitive phone calls, calls dropped in the middle or pushed from department to department with zero result, NEVER BE TEMPTED TO JOIN for a cheaper alternative you will regret it from day one. Surely the regulators should be investigating such poor service

    @TalkTalk two months and still waiting for my broadband to be disconnected. 10 phonecalls, being transferred and hung up on 5 times, tried raising a complaint twice just to be hung up on. Being told three different stories, and then hung up on again. Still no further forward.Chats and messages just give me the phone number that I have been using for the last 8 weeks..

    Avoid Poor service constantly problems, daily internet cuts, and when they tell you your free to leave without a charge they still take the money out of your bank account. Been arguing with them for a year to get my money back.

    Had both Internet and Mobile phone services with Talk Talk. Cancelled broadband and then mobile. Just appalling lack of good customer service. Don't deserve even one star. Will never use again.

    I only warn others not to use this company. They are utterly hopeless and read and type from scripts instead of actually dealing with complaints. I had both broadband and mobile and am STILL trying to leave after 3 months. It's unbearable.

    Absolutely discusted yet again with the level of service with talk talk. My partner recently signed up for broadband at a deal for 2 years at 19.95 per month. He has then received an email stating after 18 months it would be 33.50? Has now spent 3 days being passed from pillar to post trying to get through different numbers and various emails with success. He finally managed today to speak to someone in South Africa today after asking to cancel the order. He has been charged for the call after being asked to stay on the line to listen to the t&c. As of yet he has not received any emails stating it has been cancelled.

    This is the worst broadband company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Ripped me off increased bills because I was unable to use direct debit. Directly threatened me on the phone when I couldn't pay. And then threatened me again to damage my credit file. The service was always slow and dropped out a lot. One time i had no Internet a week and no phone line. Excuses constantly. No refund for loss of service and my last bill I just paid off was £29 yet they threatened ruin my credit file for 6 years over that. Didn't send any bill in post. I didn't even see the email until yesterday. A complete and utter joke of a company. Really your reputation will suffer treating people like dirt. Two of my friends have today cancelled because way I was treated by Talk Talk so go enjoy your £29 pounds out of me you just lost a lot lot more.

    Talk Talk has to be the worst internet provider..
    My internet goes off every time it rains...
    I have to go through toe same old thing every time I call them, nothing changes... call them , speak to someone who can’t speak English properly, very hard to understand, but always very polite...can’t wait for contact to finish.....

    Very disappointing service,customer service likes to go round in circles repeat and contradicting themselves.Tells you one thing then the next say something completely different. Been on all day just trying to get a straight answer. More bothered about charges, than to give good custom/service. Will charge us £240 to get out of our contract of not receiving the service that they are not providing.very disappoint company. Money making.BEWARE!

    I pay my bill weekly it should be £21 a week on a Thursday. I always pay it on time and yet every week I find my self calling him over some problem. Thwy switch my phone off all the time and my broadband Nd everything I call they blame technical difficulties or say I payed at the wrong time of day. You can't understand a word they are saying and everything is off a script I asked to speak to a manager and I was refused then they put the phone down on me. I've called sky today and they have much better customer service and packages. My advise would to be never to Singh up with talk talk

    I signed up a year ago and about 5 weeks ago I got an email that encouraged me to renew my contract to a faster speed for less money. from day one I had slow speed, they kept trying to fix the problem and even sent out an engineers, this didn't improve anything, when I called to cancel I was on the phone for 2 and 1/2 hours. they said they could not listen to the recoreded phone calls, even tho its states that all calls are recorded. they also never updated their systems. all in all very poor company for the last month.

    I do ordered at 20th august .and l gate one post from talk talk at 25th august "you networt be live at 30th " still I wait my network go live ,maybe go live next year i think,when you talk customer services every day he said after 24 hours, really very bad services

    Had talktalk a week and so far can't fault anything. Just a bit tricky to set up but I'm not an electrical/cable/wire person. No issues with broadband what so ever and TV package is really good. Was a bit unsure due to reading bad reviews but at half the price of other providers, can't fault it. Glad I changed. Plenty of good films on the cinema channel.

    I’ve been with talk talk broadband for over a year,and have extended my contract for another year.Previously with Virgin,and there service was terrible,nowhere near the speeds they promised at top tier,and was constantly going down.Its this,it’s that,send you a new router,still same problems.Leaving,well,that call was almost as long as my 8 years with them. I had talk talk years ago when it first started up,and never had a problem. 15 months in,and it’s the best move I ever did,never had any problems,and the promised speed of 76mb is just that and some,I struggled to get 50 on virgin cable,when it was working.No throttling,and am very happy that they delivered what they promised.Thats just my review of the service they provide me.A very happy customer.

    broadband dropping out was told to switch off all devices when it happens to see if that solves it,if not it could be your nabours devices or electrical/magnetic disturbance in your area ha ha

    The tv box and router came on time, had it connected all ok he said it will be slow for first day while it buffers up, week later on phone complaining that we had no speed they said they would get engineers out, was on the phone for 2 hours and they said they would ring bk to tell me the day they was coming, had no call back, so rang them bk on the phone again 2 hrs and they said I don't need an engineer out they would sort it on there end, again I rang bk to cancel the package before my 30 days ran out, they asked me not to cancel just yet and gv them time to try sort it, they sent me a new router, same problem, so I did a speed test I was getting 00.00mb so rang them bk to tell them and tell them the speed i was getting, again on phone for over an hour why she did speed test on her side, I was told that while I was getting 3.2 why my laptop was plugged in to router it was ok, I asked her, so my lads had to plug there devices in to the router just to do there home work , her response was kind of, Iv cancelled all the package, paying for broadband and tv that don't work because the wifi signal was not strong enough to connect to the tv, customer service was happy for me to cancel with no cancellation fee, how ever there still going to take this months payment i then asked would u pay for something you have not used he hung up,

    The worst company I have ever dealt with the money they say you save you will have too lose by having days off from work because of problems with your service. If you try and make a complaint they always ask you too ring back at a later date. the services are intermittent so if you really want to watch something I would recommend you go with sky or virgin media. The worst customer services I have ever seen too there is no one who can understand a problem over the phone. AWFUL!!!!!!
