    Attempted two phones calls in the cooling off period to cancel. Now going through a complaint process because both times they hung up and didn't leave any notes.

    Wanted to cancel because their service is slow and patchy (it crashes if there are multiple devices on) but now want to cancel and avoid because of their customer service.

    Most unprofessional company I have ever delt with if you are looking for broadband don’t not put your self in a mess with talk talk manager from Philippine called me a liar what kind of a costumer service is this if you ever call them for help it’s put you through India or Philippine it’s a absolutely a joke this company there are very good with talking your money but not giving the service you pay for I give them 0 stars for everything

    I have been with Talk Talk for about 7 months and in a 18 month contract which leaves with 11 months to go. Unfortunately I have to move house because of personal stuff when I called Talk Talk they said they would be happy to move me but as soon as i do move they will restart my contract and I will have to stay with the a further 7 months. If I want to cancel I would have to pay £80. I only ever use the internet for work use but it is still extremely slow. The person on the phone was constantly repeating himself saying that he was doing me a favour and a great deal, I don’t think he understood that all I wanted was him to move the line. NOT TO EXTEND IT or fine me £80 for something that is out of my control

    can only be described as awful. It buffers, crashes completely useless, talktalk keep telling me its fine not that you can ever speak to anybody. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

    Absolute rubbish!! Only been with talk talk six weeks and cancelled the subscription...customer service is rubbish....still no Wi-Fi connection after 2weeks, They say if I require an engineer I have to pay a fee ??

    Awful experience. The broadband kept dropping out. It’d take almost an hour on every web chat conversation with someone. Web chat sent standard messages unrelated to my query. When I logged a complaint, I received an email to say they’d tried to ring me when they hadn’t. I never received a good speed with them even though I paid for fibre broadband unlimited and it dropped out lots.

    Set up December 13th all was well. Two weeks later the Internet stopped working. Spoke to many advisors including 3 managers over a total of 2 days. Will not go into detail about the poor service received to have finally got through to Steven Buerg who finally allowed for an engineer to come and fix the problem. The problem was when the initial engineer came to set up he did not complete it accurately. Thank you to Steven. No thanks to the cancellations manager who spoke to me for an hour going over the same thing. Talk talk... I am very worried about my service if within the first month of setting up I have already experience problems.. god help me for the next 11. When connected though I have no problems.

    Off line for over 2 days, without any information as to what was being done to sort the problem. Then one week of internet speeds so slow that even facebook wouldn't load. And held on talktalk chat for 38 minutes after asking what the minimum guaranteed speed should be. Unfortunately I had to tick one star above because it wouldn't let me leave it blank.

    Generally average - reliability is probably the worst aspect of using TalkTalk for broadband. There are regular outages, more so than other providers I've used in the past.

    Speeds are average, coverage/range is okay (though we've switched to our own Mesh System to cover three floors) and customer service had generally been lackluster when we've needed it.

    The only positive is that there service was reasonably cheap when we signed up. I guess you get what you pay for...

    Absoloutly appauling! The worst internet ive ever had. My mobile data is better and more reliable than talk talk standard broadband. I origionally wanted the super fast broadband but failed the credit check only to be told i can upgrade once ive gone live. This was not the case when i later called to upgrade and the customer service was also terrible. I can safely say i will not be using talk talk again or recommending to anybody.

    Worst decision I ever made - so bad from day 1 that I got them to let me out of the contract and refund my first two payments, but now they have the audacity to pursue us for the FULL contract!!!

    I verbally subscribed to Talk Talk on the 31st September 2022 to two cold callers at my door. I was unsure and was late for an appointment, but was persuaded to subscribe when I was told I had 20 days to cancel. ( naively),I tried cancelling later that same day but couldn’t as they said they couldn’t find my contract. I tried and failed the next two days. By Tuesday 4 October I received a welcome pack from them with an order number. I tried ringing to cancel but was transferred eight times. One of these was customer services. I was told he was unable to help me and said it would affect my credit rating if I was to cancel any subsequent standing order. (which has not yet been set up.) I eventually did get through to someone who said he had arranged for it to be cancelled but he also told me not to cancel any standing order. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had and it appears to be bordering on the criminal. I would advise anyone thinking of signing up to doorstep callers, (or anyone else for that matter), from Talk Talk, not to.
    If I could give no stars I would.

    If I could have put no stars I would have. Absolutely shocking customer service and broadband. For 6 week's I was paying for a service I wasn't recieving as the broadband just went off one day and wouldn't come back on. Everytime an engineer was supposed to come out, nobody turned up. In the end I left them and have for the past 6 month's had them sending me letters for payments out despite me not owing them a penny. Today I was contacted by a debt collection agency on behalf of TalkTalk for a 'late payment fee' that never existed. I have never been in debt. So not only have they made up a debt that has never existed but they have affected my credit rating and had debt collectors contact me and there response was 'mistakes happen'. Maybe once, but not several time TalkTalk! Avoid!

    This will be a long review, but stick with me.....One day suddenly, I lost internet connection. I called TalkTalk and spent 45 minutes chatting to a lovely lady in South Africa who ran several tests. There was a fault on my line and offered to book an engineer at a time when I would be working and no other time was available, told to call back the next day to book a mutually suitable time. Called again and the tests were run again, but this time it was a network fault, not my line. Told I would be contacted within 72 hours. Called again next day to see where it was up to and the tests were run again, and this time it was my equipment. A new router was ordered, would be here in two days. No router. Called again, and no router had been ordered. Another ordered, but due to the weekend it would be 3/4 days before it arrived. No router. Called again, router had been ordered, but rejected at the warehouse, didn't know why. Router ordered again. No router. Called again, order had been rejected. Given a 'case handler' who would personally sort out this issue. Case handler called to confirm she had ordered the router, but was on holiday now for 5 days. 20 days without internet, still no clue as to what the issue is, still no router, I called called Sky 3 days ago, and all installed and up and running. Think carefully before signing up, the service is woeful

    never never never ever use this company for phone or broadband if you value your sanity.the worst co. i have ever had the misfortune to deal with.customer service totally crap,they're not interested in helping and just cut you off or transfer you to someone else because they don't know what to do!

    Don't deal with this company, I had no broadband for over a month and told me a pack of lies with one agent who actually hung up on me when I told him I was cancelling my contract.I put this in writing to them, sent an email to their CEO and have heard nothing from them. Absolutely appalling service after being with them from day one

    I have been with Talk Talk for 13 months now, and apart from the odd disconnection which was normally resolved by a restart of the router, did not have anything to complain about with the download speed and internet service.

    HOWEVER, skip to Sunday 10th January the internet went down, and it has not come back since at the time of this review. That is when everything unravelled. This is where you learn the money you save is on customer service and reliability.

    I have wasted hours of my life attempting to contact Talk Talk to find out what was going on. It started with a twitter representative saying the issue would be fixed within 72 hours. This then turned in to the next representative telling me that actually 72 hours is the minimum time it takes to get fixed. This then developed into approximately 15 phone calls, twitter contact, the chat function (when on the odd occasion is available on their website) being told that an Openreach engineer has been booked in for tomorrow, contact Talk Talk the day after, and repeat.

    Now I will say that they have informed me Openreach are the ones to fix it, which is why it can be perfectly reasonable for Talk Talk not to be blamed, if only for the fact that Talk Talk have lied to me on several occasions on when it will be fixed, cannot confirm when it will be fixed, what the problem is, nor a timeframe of when anything can be expected.

    Ultimately the problem is two fold. 1. I have no idea whether the information they provide to me is true or whether it is a lie, or even whether anyone is doing anything about it. 2. Talk Talk clearly doesn't want to do anything past the absolute minimum to help get my internet back up.

    In addition to these problems, I made a formal complaint in light of the above. I was told a manager would contact me the next day - this did not happen and I had to chase this up. They then did book in a time for me to be spoken to, only to provide no further information or no further level of care. I was then told they would book in a further call two days later to update me on the situation (text received to confirm this) only for halfway through the allotted time a text to simply change the date of call to two days later, and then no call to be found then either. When I complained about this to Talk Talk, they said they had try to call. I had no missed call and no voicemail so LIES!!

    I am now switching to a different service as unfortunately I feel I have no other avenue to go down. This is a long review but please take note, because when it goes wrong nobody seems to give a damn.

    The broadband speed and reliability is excellent. But, and it is a big but, their customer service is awful. I have a 18 month fixed price contract, but talktalk have increased the monthly charge. Their customer agent could not understand what fixed rate meant. They could only suggest that I could cancel the contract. But I only have a limited time, otherwise there is a cancellation fee. Best avoid this company. There are more honourable companies out there.

    Very annoyed with talk talks customer services I don't believe they are very understanding or helpful.
    I have been a loyal customer always paying my bill within the time frame and always accepting each problem.
    Numerous phone calls I have made to better my service which on talk talks behalf haven't compromised with me on. Today I had been charged extra on my talk talk bill and as I call to express my frustration they aren't very helpful and are refusing my refund almost immediate this has now left me in a difficult financial state this is very unexceptable especially when talk talk wrongly charged my account this is outrageous do not consider talk talk bad service bad connection and unreliable!

    *AVOID AVOID AVOID* this is the most shoddy company I have ever been with. Intermittent connection during the night, advisors lying, being on the phone for over an hour with the faults team and them not rectifying anything and trying to charge me for breaking the contract a month early even though it's allowed when they've announced a price hike. People always ringing pretending to be them. I'm going back to plus net their customer service was brilliant when I lived at home with my parents. I guess I thought I was being clever getting it a couple of quid cheaper a month but they've hiked the prices 3 times anyway. Very, very dissatisfied. Heed my warning and dont touch them with a bargepole. I didn't heed the warning and look at where it got me...

    Had very bad speeds after 4 engineers and 2 new routers now even worse. Service center are useless. Promised so many call backs from managers but they dont call. After 9 years with this company now leaving. They think they're going to charge me for ending contract. I don't think so. Been on the phone about this another wasted call. How they keep any customers I dont know. Very bad all round service. Looking forward to getting service where I'm going and cheaper.

    Absolutely awful company. I tried twice to get broadband installed and each time it got cancelled. No fault of mine. They did not even email or ring me to tell me it was cancelled. Hardy even apologetic when on the phone to try and resolve the matter. They then still expected me to stay with them HA. Such a shame as I've now been waiting over a month for WiFi and so am having to use my own data again through no fault of my own. Absolutely awful customer service.

    On the day that the installation was booked, no one showed up. It's extremely disrespectful with the customer that lost a day for nothing. Now I'm trying to cancel it, but on chat it wasn't possible and I'm like forever on the phone hold time... Hopefully I'll get rid of this nightmare today... When I had SKY, everything was nice and smooth.

    Talk Talk are not any good. My internet went down very night from 5-8 pm. if the weather was bad it went down! My bill was always a different amount it could be anything from £27-£80 per month. They were never helpful. Only ever sent technical support out to me once and told me there was no issue with line! I have now Cancelled after the last hacking "instant" that two in one year. My router was broken and it took them 10 working days to send out a new router I asked them to reduce the bill as i wasn't using the internet then and they said no. That is when I cancelled my bill. They also auto renewed my contract with out telling back in June so i had no option to carry on my services with them . I would never recommend any one to talk talk. I heard many people have had the same problems with them.

    DO NOT USE TALKTALK!!!!! They are hands down the worst!!! First of all they got my wrong address and sent the hub to a different address, they then had to make another appointment to install the hub which took a week. They told me that the Internet would be on before midnight. It wasn’t. I then phoned and complained and after running line tests they set up another appointment for a bright sparks engineer yet ANOTHER week later. The guy (who was lovely) informed me they should never have sent him out, it was a problem that openreach had to deal with. I then phoned and complained and they arranged to have openreach come out within 72 hours. They didn’t come. I then got on the phone and they insisted on running all the same line tests that both I and the brightsparks engineer had already run again. It then came up with they need to test the line with an alternative router and they’ll send it out to me within two working days. The brightsparks guy has already tested it with an alternative router so I have no hope that this new one is going to work. I am a uni student with several assignments coming up I have had to pay to use the Internet elsewhere and for data on my phone which has amounted to double what I would pay for 1 month’s internet. The only compensation I’m getting is not paying for the time that I have no internet. I’m fuming! Should have stuck to sky.

    Been with Talktalk for a year now and the worst service I've ever recieved.
    First of all, I did not get the speeds they 'guaranteed' despite living in an urban area.
    Then Internet kept dropping out randomly, i reported it, they said it was fixed but wasn't... 3 times! they eventually fix it after a couple months of the issue.
    Then they prematurely disconnect me causing me without any Internet for a week during a pandemic when I'm supposed to be working from home!
    I called back up to get this reconnected and said it would take 10-14 days, cannot do it any sooner.
    I asked to speak to a manager and was refused! Flat out refused! They even told me I was lying about what happened and they weren't in the wrong!
    Dismissive and flippant attitude from their customer service team, did not even try to keep to their promises at any point.
    I've left them now and won't ever be going back.
    Absolutely disgusting!
